No reply from you by email, so I'm posting in here as a reminder.
Hey Symtab, I just got a reply from you in a personal email. I was just wondering if the community had any advice. We'll handle this through email.
I'm using the webmaster tools for a site that only provides XML feeds in Mp4 format. When I use the tool, it tells me that it's not in FLV. Why am I limited to only FLV? Their support says that FLV is outdated almost and Flash supports MP4. Well, duh.
What am I missing here?
Depends on the traffic. I'd suggest worrying more about caching using APC or eAccelerator than tweaking apache. Caching and mysql tuning is way more important in my opinion.
Thanks bro.
I have to work on my server. When you need the root password, email me. I'm changing it.
I've dropped you an email symtab. Still looking for a reply. I changed my root password to the one in the email I sent and I don't want it that for ever.
Done. I noticed it's trying to create thumbs in media/videos/tmb/000/000/026/ after the import test, but the folder 026 doesn't exist. Permissions are 777, so I'm lost....
Thanks! Look forward to your reply!
K, all directories in media/videos are 777. No beans. It's still saying status Grabbing. This is very weird. Any other ideas?
Edit: In tried Hotlinking and downloading thumb and it worked. I think the Extracting FLV method is not working.
Any ideas Symtab?
Can you check if the video is actually in media/videos/flv/video_id.flv?
Nope, nothing in there.
Ownership is user:user (change to actual user of course) and 755 on the folders in media/.
In csv options you need to select ->>
Flv - title - description - thumb - tags - pornstar
Again, I quote "It's formatted in #flvurl#|#title#|#desc#|#thumburl#|#tags#|#psname# and so is the settings within CSV Mass Import."
Hey, so I've got a problem. Let me explain what I'm doing.
I've got a CSV file with the following content:
http://webmastercontent.anilos.com/X/X.flv|India Summer gets a tongue in her cunt|Gorgeous milf India Summer gets a tongue buried deep in her cunt before taking his cock balls deep and getting a sticky load on her stomach|http://webmastercontent.anilos.com/X/X.jpg|Small Boobs,Puffy Nipples,Landing Strip Pussy,Brunette,Long hair,Tan,Tan Lines,Natural,Milf|India Summer
It's formatted in #flvurl#|#title#|#desc#|#thumburl#|#tags#|#psname# and so is the settings within CSV Mass Import.
I choose FLV Source, Download Thumb, Copy Videos.
It completes but says "Successfuly imported 0 videos!". Then, I go into Videos, see it imported the tags, description, assigned itself to the right pornstar, BUT. No thumbs, no video, status Grabbing, and I see no errors in the apache logs.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
I want to see clarification between the Hotlink, Embed, and FLV selections. With examples if possible.
So, you trust these sites right? Like, I don't see a single one not asking for extremely personal info over non-SSL (https) urls.
Symtab, which are you actually using and trust?
Any updates?
If I understand you correctly, you want to enabled mod_rewrite and exec() capability for php?
I've added the Top10 Pornstar "module" as I call it to the frontpage and added the /tmp/cache/language stuff to the proper file so the text loads right. However, the pornstars don't show. It just shows "No popular pornstars yet!", while on the pornstar page they actually show.
I'm fairly familiar with CI and the framework you used to build this script, but I don't know how to call the pornstar functions (or whatever you call them) from the /modules/pornstar/pornstar.php in my frontpage.php model.
Any ideas? I'd rather not pull all of the code from the pornstar.php module into the frontpage.php. There has to be an easier way. If there isn't, let me know of course.
Is it javascript? If so, it needs to go right before the </body></html> stuff in the footer. At least, that's if you want your site to be optimized properly.
Ahhhh... Will it be fixed in 1.0's final release?
What exactly is this for? I don't understand.. :-(
What exactly is what for?
That was it... I just cleared the fields and set the values to 0.
What exactly is that section for?
Are you looking at the size from SSH or from FTP?
Mine have filesize, but I think the max in Linux (per folder) is 8000. Since you have more, it may be displaying them improperly.
Try clearing them out and see if new session files are displaying filesize properly.
So, I upgraded my Flowplayer to the commercial version, changing all values in the config_common files and anywhere else I could find it. It's working, well, at least for the NON-Premium players. When I am logged in as premium, pull up a premium video, I get "303: Failed to load a resource: Unable to load resources: Error #2036" right over top of the video.
The same video works when I disable premium only viewing, so I'm guessing it's limited to the premium stuff and changes I've made.
This is the embed code

Lighttpd couldn't be the issue as far as I know since switching to Progressive for the premium module doesn't work either.
Any ideas? http://LIGHTTPDIPADDRESS:8080/media/videos/flv/12.flv actually downloads the flv file so it's not a permissions issue.
