#26 Re: Troubleshooting » Moving Videos » 2014-12-18 20:13:31

Are the videos uploaded to the media server successfuly? If yes, then the videos from the main server are automatically deleted.

-> These are the ones I manually moved to the media server.

You can use a separate thumb server. See Admin -> Video -> Config -> Thumbs.

-> Where do I put in the URL for the thumbs? Like which URL to fetch the thumbs from.

Thanks! That worked great however I noticed an issue. I tried finding the cause however failed.

On the main server in media/videos/mobile I have a ton of videos even though I am using the multi-server feature and pretty much all videos are hosted on the second server. Why is that?

Edited

Does the script allow remote thumbs like how the multi-server operates?

I'm currently using multi-server feature. Here's my scenario:

Server Jacob
Server Tom
Server Timmy

Currently, my main site files are on Server Jacob but the videos are on Server Tom but I need to move main site files to Server Timmy and the video files to Server Jacob.

How would I go about doing so without losing any content?

I'm assuming I can simply just download a backup of the database and site files and move it but how would the videos be moved?

Where do I run this? The main host or the second server?

#30 Re: Troubleshooting » Problem uploading videos » 2014-10-20 05:03:20

It's working now all of a sudden. I guess that was the trick, maybe needed some time.

#31 Re: Troubleshooting » Problem uploading videos » 2014-10-18 01:35:14

Oh I had completely forgot about those. Changed them, waited a day too and rebooted sever too but to no avail. Any idea?

#32 Re: Troubleshooting » Multi-server not counting properly. » 2014-10-18 01:14:26

Any MySQL query that I can run to update it?

#33 Re: Troubleshooting » Problem uploading videos » 2014-10-16 02:29:16

I have another problem. I noticed that I am able to upload videos that are small in size (50mbs, etc) but videos that are around 300mbs, they don't upload.

Is it because I had 250mbs as the max size in the past; When I changed it to 400mbs recently, I just did it through the config settings in ACP. In short, no other setting needs to be edited right? If yes, then what can be the cause?

I had disabled multi-server via configuration settings under the video tab and enabled it a hour later. After I had done that, I moved 100+ videos from main host to the second server. Videos were moved perfectly and even stream properly but when I go to "Manage" in "Servers", it shows that it has only 8 videos.

Before yesterday when I added a multi-server, everything was working perfectly. Yesterday, I did some security changes and after that no one on the website is able to upload videos.

Ah makes sense. The group settings and such would be in 1.3 then?

#38 Re: Troubleshooting » Mobile Properties » 2014-10-10 05:14:35

Great. Also, would changing it that way cause any issue(s) such as horrible video quality on mobile, etc?

#39 Re: Development » Adult Script Pro 1.2 Development » 2014-10-10 05:09:14

Does 1.2 include the complete group settings feature? Also, a new layout for help documents/FAQs?

Just to add on from http://forum.adultscriptpro.com/viewtopic.php?id=2863

I noticed that if you action on the reported video is to delete the video then from the dashboard from ACP, the new reports sign goes away. If I simply suspend the video then the report stays there. Probably if a video is suspended or deleted, the reports alert goes away?

They are hosted on the main server and the multi-server. Users have uploaded them to the servers.

#41 Re: Troubleshooting » Moving all videos to different server » 2014-10-09 21:10:21

Oh thanks, I wonder how I missed the thumbs server setup.

When it comes to videos, I moved all of them.

#42 Re: Troubleshooting » Cloudflare Upload Limit » 2014-10-09 15:03:24

I was using Cloudflare in the past and had to stop using it due seo (Blocks some SE bots) and the upload limit. Your best option when using CF  is to have multiple servers, each on different.I don't know why but it somehow bypasses the upload limit of 100mbs.

#43 Re: Troubleshooting » Moving all videos to different server » 2014-10-09 14:57:25

True. I manually went to all my videos and changrd the server..I see the videos in the new server, do I need to tun any sql queries?

Also, how do we add a thumb server?

#44 Re: Troubleshooting » Mobile Properties » 2014-10-09 14:55:36

Oh okay. If I change it from no to yes, would it bug out anything?

I was editing some videos manually and I noticed that that about 12 videos out of 100 videos which I edited had "Mobile Properties" set to NO in ACP.

Why is that?

#46 Re: Troubleshooting » Moving all videos to different server » 2014-10-09 04:41:12

I don't see the option to change server/move videos to another server via bulk or mass edit options. I have to go to each video and manually edit them.

On server 1, I have a few videos. I was wondering, can I move all those videos from server 1 to server 2 without breaking anything or causing any 404 errors?

#48 Re: Feature Requests » Admin tools on frontend » 2014-10-01 01:09:53

Yes but that is for one by one. Now lets say, if I am an admin and want to delete one video only. I have to either flag it then log into ACP and take action, why not while on the video page just delete the video.

I wanted to delete a bunch of videos today from the site which I found not worthy of keeping. I had to manually delete them from backend (Copy videos title, search it then delete it). I believe there should be admin tools on frontend such as deleting video, suspending it, etc.

I do not own the template. Its just a site running ASPro.

I am aware of that but the channel.php file seems to be an add-on well not a core feature for sure.
