#28 Re: Open Discussion » I want to promote ASP! » 2012-05-17 20:17:05

Like i said above the website is about making a porn tube, therefore the script.

#29 Re: Open Discussion » I want to promote ASP! » 2012-05-17 08:42:21

It is specific to making a porn tube. It does not have any pornographic images or videos. I don't get it... how am I supposed to sell a porn tube script without talking about porn?

#30 Re: Open Discussion » I want to promote ASP! » 2012-05-16 22:54:06

I agree! It is in their best interest to have affiliate information on the website before traffic starts to come in. I am planning to promote ASP as it is by far the superior product, but I don't think this is going to be possible. This morning I got a reply from Avengate.

"We are sorry but your website conflicts with our acceptance policy, more specific - It promotes material with explicit sexual content."

Is this a joke? Is ASP not on a website called adultforge? I mean how am I supposed to promote ASP if I don't talk about porn?

Hey, I have recently found a keywords that would be perfect for promoting ASP. I setup a website and yesterday spent a good 5 hours writing content for the website. It is essentialy a guide to making a porn tube, with AVS being the supported script for the guide, simply because it is the best. Some pretty clear reasons why ASP is the best are outlined on the first page and they are all legitimate reasons.

I applied for Avangate to start promoting ASP, they sent me back an email saying my application has been declined because my website is under construction. To me this is pathetic, who in their right mind declines someone that want to make money for them? I tried to reapply, but it says my email and website are already in the system. I tried to log in but my email would not work. It seems to me that its not just my website that is not yet complete.

I am requesting that ASP move to ClickBank or if contracts allow it, use both. ClickBank is much more user friendly and have a much wider audience. I think this would be in the best interest of the ASP developers because a move to ClickBank would mean a much wider exposure. This would mean that ASP would get the credit they deserve and AVS would be rendered redundant.

Cheers

Hi, almost everything on the website is working now. The only problem is photo uploads arent working. I have tried a couple of different archives and all return the same error "Failed to add at least one photo from archive! Aborting..."

I have made sure there are min dimensions and the photos are in line with this. I can't think of anything that would cause this problem. This is from the admin end, I haven't tried from the user end simply because it would take too long.

Cheers

#41 Re: Installation » So many 404s... » 2012-04-25 04:56:10

Hey mate, cheers for the help. I uploaded the .htaccess but it didn't seem to work for some reason so I copied the contents and pasted it straight into the file on the server and that did the trick.

Hi everyone, I mass embed videos from xvideos.com and some videos wont add. The page has about 60 videos yet it only adds 30 of them and sometimes there are some videos in particular that I want to add but I cant unless I embed them individually and that's a pain in the scrotum because you have to add thumbs ect... Does anyone know how to get around this or when the grab feature will work?

#46 Re: Development » Premium Module » 2012-02-02 06:01:11

Thank you for the reply. Currently the only processor that would suit us is paypal. We are unable to sign up for the others because we don't have a business name. Do you have a ETA for the paypal payment processor?

Cheers

#47 Re: Development » Premium Module » 2012-02-01 01:49:27

Will this support payment processors? we have lost a substantial amount of money due to the payment processors not working.

#48 Re: Modifications » your site stats? » 2012-01-05 23:32:15

I don't think the views are correct. As soon as I add a video, sometimes it says the video has 30 hits instantly. Also The video views does not correlate with google analytics.
