Its a good idea, however here's what i'm thinking: once i finish the beta i will add more features, including DVD's which you can link to their original site (with affiliate code), site's which will contain videos to a specific site (again with affiliate). I also think the Performs field is there to write: Anal, Girl-Girl, GangBang, GangBlowjob and so on.
I think you should keep the Performs for what it was ment and add a new field (DVD's which can be edited via WYSIWYG editor in the ACP). I can do this for your site only (of course if other clients find your method better, then for them also). For pornstars the videos, photos, comments submenu can also contain a DVD's menu which will appear in the future when i add the DVD's module.

Fixed! (The script pulls the initial 10 (or whatever is defined in admin for related_per_page) and from there it pulls 10 / ajax request, the related limit now works). If you observed that your video page loads slower i will also check if the queries are optimized.
1. Support for HD is already there. Not all videos are converted to HD (mp4/aac) videos, only those that have width/height > 650/350 (these values can be changed from the configuration file). 2. The CSS edit feature for the users can be added, i thaught about this before. Users will be able to change the background, text colors, box border, box header background (this can also be a image).
Like i said before. I can do these modifications only after i finish everything that is required to have version 1.0 without the BETA.

We are currently working on premium membership, once done we move to in-player html/javascript overlay ads, video updates from rss affiliates, automatic script updates from our servers. Once done i will work on the 2 features you requested. Unfortunately i cant give you a exact date when these 2 features will be added.

Please set debug to true (ACP -> Home-> Config -> System) and then try to reproduce the second bug from your post. You should get a error message. Please post that error message here or send me a email (i tested on my box and i get no errors).

@pornotube: I will finish working on what i work now (payment processing, rss video updates...) and then i will create a migration script. The migration will limit you to using md5 for user passwords (by default adult script pro, uses salted blowfish passwords, but options for md5/sha are available). The migration script will also contain a URL mapping scheme which you will need to use for some time (until all new urls are indexed by google and old ones are marked as permanently moved). You will be able to keep your videos, photo albums, users, comments, ratings (i'm not 100% sure about this, as adult script pro ratings are 5 star half rating, basically you can rate with 3.5 if you want),but you wont be able to keep blogs and notices. Database structure is completly different, code is completly different, the only thing similar to AVS are the /media/videos/flv and /media/videos/tmb directories (although media/videos/tmb will change as there is a bug when you have > 32.000 videos, it can be fixed without changing the script, but clients need to know server administration, so i think changing the script is a better solution in the long run).
Your question puts me in a ethical situation, however its still fair competition. I dont know if other users will change from AVS to Adult Script Pro. There are a lot of scripts out there (i made a chart and currently there are 9 adult scripts on the market), so i think for every client there is a right script which will meet his needs.

AVS and Adult Script Pro are two completly different scripts. Currently we dont have any migration method from AVS to Adult Script Pro. If more clients want to migrate we will create a migration script. The template might look similar to AVS because both scripts a porn tube scripts (more exactly pornhub clones), but our script is not based on AVS or affiliated in any way with AVS.
Once we finish our final version which will include all features included until now + premium membership, automatic video adding via rss feeds from affiliates, in-html player advertising, script upgrades from our servers we will probably create a conversion script. I used to work for the company that sells AVS and i coded AVS until version 1.3 so i have experience with the AVS script.
We are currently working on the Premium Membership module, and its 70% done (it already works with paypal and we are waiting for ccbill, epoch and zombaio to setup our subscription so we can test and make sure it also works with these payment processors ).

You need to add the Lighttpd URL because most users will run apache + lighttpd on port 81, so i added the Lighttpd URL option to make sure people that run on lighttpd or nginx only can use this feature. You need to add the URL (in your case this would be http://www.mypornow.com), if you would run lighttpd on port 81 you would need (http://www.domain.com:81 or http://ip:81 depending on how you configured lighttpd).
If you run more than 1 site on lighttpd, you need to configure mod_secdownload separately for each domain in case you will need to use the domain in the lighttpd URL.
I'm sorry for the lack of documentation. Once i finish the final version, there will be tons of documentation (for everything in the administration panel there will be documentation).
