another script you forgot to mention is

whose demo is here:

the reason why i will be going with ASP over STP is because of the support

being a aged and debilitated newbie, i need all the support i can get (and i'm not talking about my cane and walker)

Oh no, I didn't forget to mention that one...  I was simply not interested in it.  tongue

And they'd be able to design something for this script?

I have something in mind, but I need for someone skilled with this to contact me, and we can go over the details!

Well, from what I gathered, STP does in fact have a premium section, by default, integrated into their basic tube script purchase, .

this is what i was looking at for the STP demo

http://demo1.smarttubepro.com/

and i did not see the premium feature

it has a free membership community sign-up,

but i didn't see anything where people pay extra for a premium section, as is included with ASP

They have it listed on their "Features" page, @ http://smarttubepro.com/?view=features
It's about halfway down.

But yeah, AVS forums are filled with decent ideas but the AVS script seems to be lacking in said forum ideas.  That could be a problem.
So now, it's pretty much between ASP and STP.  I am really liking both!

Okay, so I'm thinking of buying a Verizon, T-Mobile, etc USB Network Adapter for 4G, so I can move quickly across the internet.  When I begin my site, and I start grabbing and / or embedding videos, will that count as data I'm using from my connection (which would probably be a 5G limit), or would it only count towards the server?

Well, from what I gathered, STP does in fact have a premium section, by default, integrated into their basic tube script purchase, but I you seem pretty spot-on with everything else you said.  The picture gallery feature isn't much of a big deal to me, and honestly, I doubt I'd even use it.  Hopefully it can be disabled.  I'll be using enough bandwidth as-is, with the videos.  I do appreciate your input, and I will you well in your endeavors!  When I arrive at around my 1-year mark, I want to begin building a porn-ring with others that have websites on the rise, and are getting good views.  I've spent the last 3 years, studying SEO, so I'm hoping I can apply that knowledge in a major way to this project.

He does have nice forums with a lot of content, but I saw a small error in a thread title.  Nothing major...  But in the Celeb one, there is a thread named, "Rihanna - Terry Richardson photoshoot (9-5-2012)", which of course, couldn't have happened yet.  tongue

But I like the forum and the site!  Great work!

I've been doing research on starting a tube site, and a pattern seems to have formed.  Many people get into this business and boast about their tube site they're doing, but often when you see a thread that's a year or two old (not just here, but in many forums I've seen), the sites are down.  Why is it that people invest all the startup money to get the scripts and then a year or two later, their sites are nowhere to be found?  Is this just a really difficult industry to break into, or is it entirely a lost cause?  Or perhaps, it's something simpler than that, such as, it's still possible to be a newcomer and become highly successful with a tube site, but people are not willing to work at it?  My assumption would be the third of the three, but I'd like some clarification on this if possible.  I'd like to get going with a tube site, I like what I've seen from Adult Script Pro, but two things are keeping me from locking into a decision about this script.  The first thing is Adult Video Script, and the second is Smart Tube Pro.  All three scripts look great and I see features from each that I really appreciate.  I hear Mechbunny is great, too, but anyway...

So yeah, my heart is 102% in creating a tube site that will eventually replace my full-time job.  Is it even possible with a premade script such as this, or is it just some fairytale fantasy?  I don't want to be "Just another Tube Site", so I have several ideas already in mind, for how I can be different.  I don't expect for anyone to say "Oh, you can make $1,000/day in 6 months if you work really hard on it" or anything, but rather, just let me know that it's possible to enter the game with a premade script (which will be modified over time via outsourcing (until I get a grasp of PHP syntax)), as a small fish in an ocean full of sharks, and come out successful.  I'd consider "successful", when I can earn at least $300/day from this.  Of course, when I hit that point, I should be able to more easily scale up from there.

Anyway, this trend I've noticed....  Does it only apply to the weak -- the ones that either didn't put a solid prolonged effort into their business and / or gave up before they achieved success?  Or do even the committed ones falter into the inevitable abyss?
