Could always provide the tool in RC 1 and we could upload all the info via .csv and add Pornstar Photos ourselves, it's still work, but a lot less work.

Hmmm, so resizing does only happen with pornrabbit, still not sure why. When we install RC1, maybe it will fix that.

Other thing I noticed: on http://www.pornogoddess.com/double-anal … netration/ the description is cut off under the thumb. Those I uploaded personally from .csv. They are videos from Videosz.com.

Not quite sure why it's happening...but seems to happen when the description goes to two lines.

Any ideas?

Symtab,

Could we have control over the different "groups" for users and what they do? Would like to utilize moderators, editors, etc.

Also, is it a possibility to have different levels of Premium membership for our users to choose from? ie:

Tier 1: No ads and ability to download user uploaded videos.

Tier 2: No ads, ability to download user uploaded videos and access to Premium videos (streaming only)

Tier 3: No ads, ability to download user uploaded videos and access to Premium videos (streaming and download)

Just another way for us to customize our sites payment structures and what we allow our subscribers to do.

Some of the thumbs are different sizes and some of the descriptions get cut off under the thumb.

Not sure what to do to fix this...

1: If possible, I think a secondary menu UNDER the primary menu would be better. That way everyone will see all the links. The dropdown or more button may not work as well because it's not in the users face. The less a user has to do to see the content, the better.
2: Advertising under the menu will be great. Can you also do the more specific advertising for the categories?  I think it will really put the final touch on all of your advertising customizations. This is from my previous post: 

If we could make Video Player Right be targeted for each Category.
If we could make Video Category Bottom, Left and Square be targeted for each category. Rough Sex category shows rough sex ads on the bottom and left, etc.

4: Sounds good, and also have it on the front page, in the same type of content box as recently watched?  And maybe a way to have it minimized, unless the user clicks on it, where it then expands?

Could say: "News - click here to expand!" or something? Just brainstorming.

5: It's nice we now have a community member like Videohard that can help refine the SEO Techniques

6: Can't wait to see the embed overlay!

7: I can wait.

New #8: Changing the Interested in: Girls/boys/boy-girl to Women/Men/Both?


These adjustments would be everything that I can think of that would make this script be perfect for it's final release.

You asked what we thought needed to be added still, so this is just my opinion above and beyond what's already being added for RC1.(ie: Pornstar importing, photos uploading, RSS feeds, video advertising, subcategories...) It's mostly a collection of ideas from members on the forums into one place. In my opinion this would put the final "Polish" on the site for release and then any future updates you make are just to improve upon it.

1: More menu buttons/ drop down menu buttons. I've run out of space for items that I think would help monetization. With dating, cams and my blog up top, I can't place anything for Pornstar or Premium...
Perhaps a second menu under the first that we can turn on/off if we so desire? Can have the buttons center inside the second bar, maybe?

2: The more specific category advertising from my previous posts and header advertising integrated throughout site (underneath menus). I think this will help us and just add to all the customization you've already included.  (Will help you advertise the script in just one more way over all the other scripts ) After this is included with the video advertising, it will be perfect.

3: Advertising spots for Forum page.

4: "News" area suggested in the forums...would help with connecting to our users.

5: SEO improvements you've been working on, (Thanks Videohard!)

6: Overlay for embedding videos.

7: Flowplayer license

Symtab, don't hate me for my suggestions. You asked! lol I don't know what's impossible to implement and what's not so hard, so forgive me.

I just think the targeted category advertising compliments the rest of the targeted advertising you created nicely. (and ONE of the many things that sets you apart from the rest!) The more we can target individuals fetishes, the more we will all profit.

I am fine with you waiting for the final version to be released and I think that's the best idea to get it ready first. There's lots of more important work for now!

I will be waiting patiently. I love logging in to see the changes you make.

Can't wait til the next release. It's fun being part of the beta and waiting for the next version of the script!

I understand. Sorry to request so many things that weren't possible. I don't know how to program a script like this, so wasn't aware of the technical capabilities.

These are some things that I think you said were possible and some other ideas I had: If I mention something that is technically impossible or takes too much time, I'm sorry.

1: The advertising underneath the Menu I think would be a great advertising space. If you could add it when you have time. If we could target this for each category it would be great as well...

2: If we could make Video Player Right be targeted for each Category, I think it would help with monetizing our sites. Even if we can add ads to the player, it's just one more way to attract a visitor by showing them ads that are specific to the niche they clicked on.

3: If we could make Video Category Bottom, Left and Square be targeted for each category. Rough Sex category shows rough sex ads on the bottom and left, etc.

4: There is no advertising space for Forums, I think this would be a pretty good spot.

All in all, I think the customization of the categories will just help us all to show specific ads to people that are looking for specific things...

I think the ; is breaking the link from going to where it's supposed to.

I've spoken to a few of my affiliates and even those who don't advertise that they have a pornstar export via .csv, have told me they have an internal tool available to their account managers who can get the information for me.

Confirmed this today with an affiliate and was told they could get me all information exported, hair color, eye color, breast size, skin color, height, etc.

I know you are super busy with RC1 and I can't wait to see it!

Love coming to the forum every day to read what's new and what's upcoming, it's like previewing the patch notes for a video game. tongue

Could it be possible to have a small text box on the main page, above the "being watched" videos, same type of box that the "being watched" videos goes in,  that could be turned on and off by the admin, to talk about site changes, upcoming events, etc? Or maybe a way to have it minimized, unless the user clicks on it, where it then expands?

Please excuse my non-programming lingo beforehand...

Can we make the Category "column" be less wide? It's taking up a lot of valuable real estate, in my opinion. Could there be a way to scale this to the largest word used? ie: if my longest category is ass to mouth, it will stop at the end of the H in mouth, but if my longest word for a category is blowjob, it will stop at the end of B in blowjob?

Also, can we have an advertising space at the top, akin to how xhamster has it, underneath the menus?

Could we possibly have a vertical advertising spot to the right of the videos (by making the video thumnails a bit smaller) again, similar to how xhamster has it on the main page.

Could we have a way to set the advertising for "video view right" different for each category/sponsor?

When we are adding advertising as an "image" rather then html, is there a way to stack two or three on top of each other in a spot? Similar to how we can use <br /> to stack html/flash advertising on top of one another?

Don't hate me for my long list, please!

I'm setup with Vidz.com and as an affiliate tool they have a model export which uses CSV to mass import everything onto the site for the Pornstars category. Can we have something that would utilize this tool?

I was wondering if it would be possible for me to change the choices for the Profile Page, where it says Interested In: and the drop down menu states boys, girls, boys-girls.  I would like for my site to give the options men, women, men and women.  I know it's mostly semantics, but it helps me in avoiding any under-age-related legalities or sponsor issues.
