The addition of the new conversion functions to be able to convert to mp4 only creates a lot of problems with the mass import tools, so i will do the following for mass csv/mass xml and mass ftp: all videos will be converted (unless already mp4) or if flv (and flv copy is enabled in admin). This will disable fast imports where you set everything to copy and no mobile conversion.

You can copy the video as they are and convert them after with cron so all the tools will have the same conversion code csv,xml,graber,upload

I guess adding a queue option is the easiest way. The cron queue is already tested and working.

Yes, but there is no queue system added to CSV, XML or FTP Upload so i need to add it (and also keep the current options, because you cannot queue for example csv with hotlink or csv with embed or xml with embed...).

That is a good idea to create a conversion queue with cron, then you can adjust the cron settings to convert when your site has the least amount of traffic.

Almost finished. Here are two screenshots so you can see how the new channel feature looks:

Once finished i will release 1.2 and then i will start working on a complete new bootstrap responsive/html5 capable template and release it
with version 2 (probably 1-2 weeks needed for the template).

You can add any videos you want to a channel. It can be used with mass ftp upload, mass csv import, mass xml import, graber...

does the script v1.2 run with the latest ffmpeg? We're preparing a new server and once v1.2 is out I'll need 2 more licenses for aspro, and I want to make sure I got all the encoding software in place :-)

Our script will always use the latest ffmpeg version. I test and develop on ffmpeg 2.4.4 :-)

I'm almost finished. Will setup a demo today and then depending on how many bugs are found i release tomorrow or on Monday. Once released i will start working on new version which will have a few surprises :-)

My conclusion after playing with the conversion the past 3 days is that if you want to upload FLVs it is better to not convert them to mp4. The process of converting flv to mp4 increases the filesize and reduces the quality (and there is no way around this). If you however only upload mp4, avi, mpg, mov and so on then its possible to have a HTML5/Mobile site only (with the next version responsive template).

Erm, found the first bug, after fresh install the CSV Importer does not work correctly when the queue is enabled And i have to play with the conversion a little more.

The HD icon needs to be removed from the mp4 videos, as now all are mp4, and added the the HD videos only.
