Thanks for you efforts. I understand that it could be problem, when importing very much videos, lets say hundreds. And every video has to be converted. But for me personally, i do daily updates with lets say 50 videos over the day ( not at one time and not only from vidz and mostly true flv source ). So is it possible to build a switch? For example a checkbox: Convert/Inject HD Videos Yes/No. That would be nice, because me personally would let the server convert them. On a VPS this could lead to problems, but with a ON/OFF switch this problem could be solved very smart, i think. As you know i'am not a programming expert as you and finally you should decide if that is smart or even possible.

Hmm, i don't understand that completely because, if i upload that video via single upload in ACP it converts fine. Does the Importer use a different conversion code ?

OR: Does the mass import depend on the fact that the videos are flvs already ?

Yes i mentioned that too, although i personally would not use this feature, because there maybe strange people who upload ill pictures. Child abuse, sodomy or something. But yes, i wondered too how members can upload photos

Just an update too:

This happens only to csvs from vidz.com as far as i see.

First check your php.ini settings for these things:

upload_max_filesize = 1020M
post_max_size = 1020M
max_execution_time = 7210
max_input_time = 7210
memory_limit = 2010M

Note, this are my own settings but they do work. Never had timeouts with the Mass Import. But let me advise you: Do not import 20.000 videos at one time, your server will have a hard time

Are you on a shared hosting or on a dedicated ?

Had some problems because i run the xampp mysql version and configure did not take the correct mysqlclient, but with passing some parameters to the config script it went all well.

No, leave it like it is. Selecting the sponsor via this ajax button is better than a dropdown in edit video. It's one ( two? ) click more if i have to go into the edit video
