Upgrade from RC4 to 1.0.1

I notice in the upgrade.txt there is no instruction to go from RC4 to 1.0.1.... the latest guide is from RC3 to RC4, is that the one i follow to upgrade from RC4 to 1.0.1??

im just assuming it's the same step but need confirmation.

Yes. BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP. Its the same for every upgrade. You just go to http://www.domain.com/install/upgrade.php and select the upgrade from version to which version and then click upgrade.

Okay.. im going to attempt the upgrade now. currently uploading the files and didn't over write the config.php other files are getting over written.

So i have to upgrade to 1.0 first then enter upgrade again to go from 1.0 to 1.0.1 correct??

Well i just went from 1.0 to 1.0.1. and got this code

Query: CREATE TABLE `user_premium_ips` ( `user_id` int(11) unsigned NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', `ip` int(11) unsigned NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', KEY `user_id` (`user_id`), KEY `user_ip` (`user_id`,`ip`) ) ENGINE=MyISAM DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8;
Error Message: Table 'user_premium_ips' already exists
Error Number: 1050

when i click to watch a video it goes to a blank page.

Okay i fix the video issue. had to configure the lighttpd url

EDIT: How do i know what version is installed? im starting to think the upgrade went from RC4 to 1.0.1 even though the only option was RC4 to 1.0 so i might have 1.0.1 installed.

I think you click on 1.0RC4 to 1.0 the second time. There is nothing in the 1.0.1 file that would show the user_premium_ips table.

i clicked the 1.0 to 1.0.1 i made sure that's what i clicked. So how do i know what version ASP is installed on my server?

You check which upgrade file you have in /install and after 1.0 you check config/version.php

major 1 minor 0 patch 1 so im guessing that's 1.0.1.... so the option RC4 to 1.0 does install 1.0.1.

when 1.0.2 is release, are you going to have an option from 1.0 to 1.0.2? or i have to install 1.0.1 first?

You will always have to install all updates. It would be to much work to make it work from 1.0 to 1.0.7 for example. Considering its a one mouse click i think its pretty good.
