Advertising Positions

Hi,

As we discussed before, i've added a few new advertising positions and methods:
- Global Top (below the menu/submenu)
- Global Top, Category Left, Category Bottom, Category Square, Video Right all work with per video category advertising now (the management is done from admin, all from one interface, instead of of using the previous per category advertising, you can manage all the positions that support per category advertising).

Will update this thread once i add new advertising positions.

The ads are just for testing, not really relevant for the amateur category.

Should the video right advertising (right of the video player) display global ads, or just per category ads? (its clear that per category ads, would get more clicks, but i assume not all of you will add per category ads to all your categories).

So, the Video-Right ads are changed, now video right is global.
Or is the per category advertisement an additional feature ?

The category pages will display per category, same for the video right position, however i'm thinking to somehow enable it to display a global banner if per category is not set.

I'd suggest having the option for both for video right advertising...that way those who want to can and those who don't could assign one globally...

This feature is finished. Basically you can have per category advertising for the following positons: video-category-top (new position, just below the menu), video-category-left, video-category-square, video-category-bottom, video-player and video-view-right. If no per category advertising is set, it will fall back to the first added banner for the position that is being processed.
