Another High Traffic Test

Hi,

A client had some problems with the server, so we wanted to test of the script was causing httpd to crash. He send like 200-250 visitors / minute and the site was still working perfectly (without caching enabled) on a Dual Core Server with 2GB of RAM. Me happy :-)

I think you could throw a nuke at mine and it will just flip you off, talk about overkill lol.
Is it best to have the cache enabled? I didn't see that much of a difference.

You cant see any differences if you dont have many visitors. If you have lets say 1000 / minute or so, with caching enabled there will be a big differences (consider that without caching, there would be like 3 to 10 mysql queries for each visitor, with caching like 1 to 4 maximum).

BTW with Cache Templates Enabled my site load faster
