CPU priority

Hello,

I have a dedicated server and put the CPU Priority to 16. But my other sites on the same server go to overload page. I mass added 1000 videos with video grabber module.

Is it trying to convert them all at once?

It should convert the videos one by one (if queue is enabled in admin -> video -> config -> upload).

Yes it is enabled.

If i add just one video from video grabber it never have overload, but if i add multiple videos from grabber it has overload.

My host admin told me:

Hello,

please reduce the number of concurrent tasks of ffmpeg conversion, because the server can not handle the load. At the moment, about 100 concurrent conversion tasks, try to reduce to 10 per site.

I also have Queue Conversion Limit: 1

And have conversion just on this site. Videos from grabber modules are going to conversion faster then they are converted, especially if you import a lot of videos ( i imported 1000 ). So at the end, there are a lot of conversions at the same time. It kills the server.

Another message from host admin:

We double checked servers configuration, and no problems found.

In Administration Panel value of "Queue Conversion Limit" is set to 1 but there are 49 processes of FFmpeg running at the same time. This looks like the bug in script.

How did you add the videos? When adding the videos with the graber did you set them to queued?

I added them with video - Add - Multi Grabber

I set them to Queued
