Hello,
Let's say i add a new Server in Videos - Server - Add:
1) Do i need to move my current videos to the new server also?
2) If i don't need to move them, is it possible to move current videos to the new server still? How to change url path on all those videos?
3) Do i also need to move thumbs to new server?
4) If future videos gets hosted on the new server, will the thumbs belonging to those videos be hosted on the new server also?
5) Is it possible to have all future videos hosted on the new server and not on the old one hosting the script?

1) Yes and no,
When u have get media server you add it from your admin panel
Admin::Video::Server::Manage
so each video that u have u can or not move to new server
for example you can host 50% of your video on media server and other 50% on main server ( but of course not need to do that is just example )
2) when u add new server from admin panel all new added videos after convert will send to added server ( media server )
3) no need but is better for server balance to move it too.
4) Is option in admin panel to add Thumb Server, in Admin::Video::Config in Thumb Tab,if u enable it all new Thumbs will send to new server.

The fastest way is to move them via FTP or rsync and then update via mysql and set server = ID-OF-THE-SERVER-FROM-ADMIN->VIDEO->SERVERS

I installed a new server for all media files with centos nginx. In Admin - Video - Server Add I would should progressive. I passed all system check from

2) My media file are transfered to http://media.domain.com/media/. Should i put this url in Streaming Properties url or just http://media.domain.com/?
3) What should i put in Download Properties Url?
4) If i want all Videos to be uploaded in the media server ( nothing on the main server ). Should i enable Multi Server Settings in Video - Config - Upload?
5) If i want all Photos to be uploaded in the media server ( nothing on the main server ). Should i enable "Thumb Server" in Photos - Config - Upload?

1). There is no progressive module for any web servr, there are however pseudostreaming modules for all servers.
2). Just the http://media.domain.com/
3). There is a download.php file in the tools folder from the script archive. Upload this file to your new server and set http://media.domain.com/download.php as the download url.
4). Yes, enable multi-server
5). Yes, i think you are the second client to use the media server for photos, if something doesnt work out as espected please let me know and i fix.

Hello, I added new server to Videos - Server - Add:
But when i test it it says:
Connected to ip:21 via FTP...
Logged in using username: username...
Directory changed to: /media.domain.com/html!
Passive FTP enabled!
Failed to change directory to: media/videos/flv!
Failed to change directory to: media/videos/mp4!
Failed to change directory to: media/videos/mobile!
Those directories are already created and chmod 755 ( Because i transfered them from main server to media server ).

Please make sure the media/videos/flv, media/videos/mp4 and media/videos/mobile folder are there. Also there is a FTP Root field in admin, make sure it contains public_html/media/videos (if public_html is your docroot). Basically the path to media/videos relating to the folder where the ftp connection drops you.

In Streaming Properties you should put http://media.domain.com/media/videos instead of http://media.domain.com/
1) I set Video - Config - Thumbs: I set Thumb Server to Yes and enter my information. But the new video thumbs are still hosted on http://www.domain.com/ and not on http://media.domain.com/. What should i put in ftp root? I did put /media.domain.com/html
Should I put something like /media.lesbian8.com/html/media/videos/tmb ?
2) There is a bug with video grabber. If you grab a video for example from xhamster and then delete this video. You can't add it again. It says in the grabber module: http://www.xhamster.com/video.... already added.

1). public_html/ should do it if your docroot for the subdomain is public_html (this for the thumbs)
2). edit modules/video/helpers/manage.php and find:

1) I added new video, they are uploaded to the media server. But even with thumb server enabled and path /media.domain.com/html , thumbs are added to the media server and the main server both ( i want it added only to the media server ). I checked both ftp servers.
And on the website, the thumbs links are http://www.domain.com/media/videos/tmb/000/024/414/.. on this new video and not http://media.domain.com/....

1). Yep, thats correct, thumbs will be added to both servers. To change the thumb url edit libraries/cdn.php and set the CDN_THUMB_URL to http://media.domain.com/media/videos/tmb and also in libraries/bootstrap.php make sure require 'cdn.php' is uncommented.

Well there are cases when a user decides he doesnt want to use the thumb server anymore, so the thumbs will automatically be available on the main server. The main reason a thumb server was added is because the high load the thumb serving creates (basically for each thumb you need a request to the web server, unless the images are cached via expires). I will add the 3.x version a feature to automatically delete the thumbs from the main server (on/off in admin). I can send you the code to do this in 2.x if you want.

Also in Photos - Config - Upload - Thumb Server: I added a new media server and then i added a new photo.
The photo thumb and full size image remain on http://www.domain.com/ and when i try to go to http://media.domain.com/photopath...jppg it doesn't work.

Hello, it still doesn't work. I added a media server successfully to Photos - Server - Add and tested the server, it works.
- If "Multi Server" is disabled in Photos - Config - Uploads, when i upload with Photos - Add - Uploads it adds the photos but the photos are disabled ( i checked status Active ).
- If "Multi Server" is enabled in Photos - Config - Uploads, after filling informations and clicking on Upload Albums i get redirected to HTTP ERROR 500 on http://www.domain.com/admin/index.php?q=photo/upload. When i check in Photos - Manage, the album photos is uploaded but there are no categories ( i selected categories ), the status of the album is active, but the photos status are disabled and photos are uploaded to main server but not to media server.
- If "Multi Server" is enabled in Photos - Config - Uploads from FTP, after filling informations and clicking on Upload Albums i get redirected to HTTP ERROR 500 on http://www.domain.com/admin/index.php?q … upload/ftp When i check in Photos - Manage, some of the photos are uploaded ( not all ), the status of the album is stuck in processing, the uploaded photos are just on the main server, not the media server. All uploaded photos are disabled.
