Adult Script Pro 1.0RC3 Testing

Hi,

Adult Script Pro 1.0RC3 has been ready for a few days now, but i kept searching for bugs. RC2 was released a few bugs where
still there, this time i want RC3 to be as clean as possible. I uploaded the new version to:

http://www.scriptdevel.com

for testing. If you can spare 30 minutes or so, please test whatever you want. We need to fix as many bugs as possible, next
RC will be the final release.

Thanks.

Re: Adult Script Pro 1.0RC3 Testing

Not exactly bugs, but the few things I thought should be changed/added.

1: Like I have on http://pornogoddess.com, I believe the "Go" button should be changed to "Search" for everyone. (My opinion, don't have to take it...)
2: "Interested in" in the profiles should be Men and Women not Boys and Girls. (I've changed it, but think it should be included in the final release.)
3: I still have a bug with certain posts in my Forum showing that a post was made 2011 years ago. Not sure if that's fixed or not because there are no forums on ScriptDevel.com right now.
4: Remove the "Read More" from the News post on the main page.
5: The mass action feature.

Everything I can think of. Haven't found any bugs yet on ScriptDevel.com

Can I use innodb for all the tables if  I'm using sphinx and not mysiam full-text for site search?

Yes, but its not recommended. I dont have extensive innodb practical experience, however i've read a lot about this engine. It is mainly recommended for big amount of data. Is your site slow? If yes, then just email me ssh root access and i'll make some time this week to debug? (and the fixes will be added in the script also).

Re: Adult Script Pro 1.0RC3 Testing

I was just asking because I found it strange that it is still using myisam as default engine on the .sql install file when innodb is the default engine on mysql 5.5 onwards. I was also forced to use innodb for some board that was receiving huge amounts of writes rendering reads super slow and unresponsive because of full table locks on some tables. So in my experience innodb performs better in the long run.

In this case you can use innodb! Except for converting your tables to innodb, there is nothing else that needs to be done.
