Did you add the auto detect term for each category?

Re: [NOT A BUG] Autodetect For Categories Dont Work

In Admin -> Video -> Categories -> Add/Edit there is fieldset called Automatic Categorization and a input field called Auto Term, you need to enter at least one Auto Term for each category. For example in order to find videos matching the Blowjob category you would need: "blowjob, sucking" for the Auto Term, for Amateur you need: "amateur, homemade, homegrown". Without these fields its impossible to guess the category.

Re: [NOT A BUG] Autodetect For Categories Dont Work

It doesnt work 100%, because there is no way to make it work 100%, however if the title or tags of a video contain the required words to match a category it will be matched.

Yes, thats correct aprox 70-80%. If the video does not contain any terms for the specific category, it will not work.

Re: [NOT A BUG] Autodetect For Categories Dont Work

I have added autodetect key words to the autodetect section, but it only seems to add the videos to the correct category when the video has the keyword in the title. I am using mass embed from redtube.com. What am i doing wrong?

You Doing Nothing Wrong Its Auto detect Function Only Work If There Is Any Word In Tittle Of Video Related To Category And If You Have Put Auto detect Term In All Categories Then Only It Will Work Otherwise It Fail And Add All Videos In First Category. If You Need Any Help In Adding Them Tell Me I Tell You Simple Way To Add With Mass Embed.

Re: [NOT A BUG] Autodetect For Categories Dont Work

yeah even if the video has categories relating to my autocategory it still doesn't detect it only works if it is in the title. i know i can choose the category when i mass embed but if i want to choose more than one or if i just want to add the most recent vids on redtube (which are in multiple categories) you can see where it gets tedious. If you could share with us ful2fun your method that would be great.

cheers

It Will Select Multiple Categories If Its In Title Or You Can Mass Or Bulk Edit It And Add Categories But What I Do Is I Just Add Videos Of Categories Of Site To My Single Category And I Select That Category It Populate Site With Huge Videos And You Can Mass Edit At End If You Like To Add More Categories

Re: [NOT A BUG] Autodetect For Categories Dont Work

Basically these are the methods to find the category:
1. Some sites support categories, so basically i'll get the category name from there and if you have the same category on your site, that category is matched (keep in mind that only a few sites have categories).
2. If any of your autodetect terms are found in the video title the category is matched.
3. If any of your autodetect terms are found in the video tags, the category is matched (keep in mind that not all the sites have tags).

These are the only ways from a programmers point of view. I cannot improve this in any way sad
