Website not loading after APC install attemp

I tried to install APC from a guide found here cgurnik.com/2010/09/21/install-apc-for-php-in-centos-5-5/

After I completed the steps my website stopped working and I cant figure out how to fix it. Please help

Uninstall APC and try again. Maybe you did not install something correctly. Did any error messages appear?

no error message, I'm not sure where APC is. What path an what command do I use?

I uninstalled APC (For anyone else the command is pecl uninstall apc)

I still cant find a method to get APC working on the website.

Also is there a guide to get the loading bar working?
