#1 Re: Troubleshooting » block/redirect direct video links » 2016-11-20 18:10:14

ah ok you mean Admin -> Video -> Config -> View -> streaming secure , not advanced
If it is this, I had streaming secure on asp 1.0, but after the upgrade to 2.0, it doesn't work, I have only a black screen on the player if I enable it (with pseudostreaming apache and the old prefix and key).
I asked to you a couple of time after the upgrade to fix the problem but it's still here, Can you have a look at it now please?

I found some forums with direct links on my videos; ex: .../media/videos/mp4/1904.mp4
so they are skipping the video page with ads. Is there a way to redirect these links to the video web page or block the direct acces to the media folder without problems with google or my streaming?

thanks.

Hi Adrian, if I try to use "spin text" on a video, it return me only a blank page.
I have even my synonyms database but the title didn't change. You upgrade my ASP to 2.0 last weeks.
Do I have to activate the function in somewhere menu or something is missing?

Hi Adrian, I noticed now that after server migration, 4 months ago by you, sphinx search doesn't find the new videos, both in ASP website and ASS website.

On ASS the source "porn" shows only one video per page and youporn and another new source doesn't show anything.  Cron seems works fine.

#6 Re: Troubleshooting » Mobile videos 3x more bigger than desktop » 2015-01-19 11:20:31

Admin settings are on first post, now I changed only audio from 128 to 96. I would like to change from baseline 1.3 to main 3 for mobile, despite the bigger files, the quality is very bad compared to desktop and for Android and Apple (after iphone 3g) main 3.0 is well supported no? If I've understood you have this on new ASP version 1.2.2, I will try to upgrade to 1.2.2 and see if it's better, can you send me the latest version?

#7 Re: Troubleshooting » Mobile videos 3x more bigger than desktop » 2015-01-17 20:31:57

Yes Adrian, this recent video for example: drainmainvein.com/4166

desktop: mp4 from xhamster 30mb and 500Kbps
mobile convert: mp4 100mb and 1800Kbps and the quality is very low compared to desktop mp4

about 2/3 of all mobile videos have this problem

#8 Re: Troubleshooting » Mobile videos 3x more bigger than desktop » 2015-01-17 20:08:03

1.0.12 but I check now and about all files having this problem. Some files are twice bigger, other file 3 times bigger.

What kind of baseline is used for ASP mobile convert? is it baseline 1.3/3.0? it's possible this is the problem? I've made some test with handbrake and if I use baseline 3.0, my file becomes bigger than the source (flv or mp4), instead if I use main 3.0 and same or better crf, the file is smaller, with half bitrate and with about the same quality of source video file

Hi Adrian, mobile convert makes files 3x more bigger than desktop file, source both flv or mp4, e.g. videos of 50-80mb become 300mb. Is it not normal no?

Mobile settings:
bitrate: auto
resize: both tried, "no" and "640x480"
encoding: 1 faster
audio: 128 / 44100

#10 Re: Troubleshooting » slow streaming buffer, especially on mobile » 2015-01-11 22:11:58

Hi Adrian, my server provider has made some change on my server network and now seems that streaming works fine and fast all day. I will check in the following days if all works fine.
Eventually I would like to install nginx. Tell me if I will have to pay something more for this, considering that was not agreed on service I paid.

#11 Re: Troubleshooting » slow streaming buffer, especially on mobile » 2015-01-09 22:25:17

but on my old vps, with more traffic (max 60 users connected at the same time, vs 20 users now ) all was working fine... On this server all works fine too, only in the evening is slow (about 19:30 until 06:30, before only the streaming, then pages and all server).
CDN is too expensive at this time, I've migrated on this server right because my old vps was too expensive and with less bandwidth... a good step could be Nginx streaming instead of the actual Apache ? ...just let me know something Adrian.

#12 Re: Troubleshooting » slow streaming buffer, especially on mobile » 2015-01-09 10:41:41

Come on Adrian, I explained more than one time that this problem appears only on evening, about 18:30 and go on until 6 morning, and is from the first day with this server that this issue appens. Probably you check in a time when the server was working fine. During this problem the streaming needs 2-4 minutes to buffer, not 2-4 seconds, I know 2-4 secs are normal. During this slowness the bandwidth is fine, ram and cpu are not high load, nothing change if I reboot the server, flush cache or restart httpd or mysql and the various logs file doesn't report anything suspicious, except for some brute force attacks that I block every time when appear. On messages n 5 xpornclub have confirmed this problem, two hours later for Double_D all was working fine.

this is what happens, and it's not normal:

1. 7-10 seconds waiting for the player to show, sometimes doesn't appears at all.
player load

2. the situation after 5 minutes.
player load

#13 Re: Troubleshooting » slow streaming buffer, especially on mobile » 2015-01-08 06:43:37

Adrian I've replied to your mail with a different email account, I have some problem with my usual email an d I cannot use.

#14 Re: Troubleshooting » slow streaming buffer, especially on mobile » 2015-01-05 14:52:22

Server is online now, please check streaming issue and install nginx for streaming, I have seen also that streaming secure is setup like the old server, but if I try to active the service, streaming doesn't work (this is not a priority, just if you have the time to check even this)

#15 Re: Troubleshooting » slow streaming buffer, especially on mobile » 2015-01-05 12:27:33

Directadmin login doesn't work too... Damn what's wrong with this server?
Now there is a technician that are working on server to troubleshoot.

#16 Re: Troubleshooting » slow streaming buffer, especially on mobile » 2015-01-04 16:59:16

Hi Adrian, I saw mysql is not recheable on websites, are you still working on server or is another problem?

#17 Re: Troubleshooting » slow streaming buffer, especially on mobile » 2015-01-01 18:07:39

httpd has a lot of pid, even if I restart the service. The streaming on old server (vps, not server) was working fine some months ago with traffic more than 300% than now.

nload during slow streaming and with low traffic:
nload

nethogs at the same time, port 80 is apache streaming no? so sent data is 0 on all requests:
nload

#18 Re: Troubleshooting » slow streaming buffer, especially on mobile » 2014-12-30 12:49:01

Just now the streaming it starts to freeze and it's very slow.

1. as you said, on the old server all was fine.
2. I'm checking now with nload command and the bandwidth increase normally as per request, and it's far from the limit, but I'm not an expert.
3. it's a clearance server, possible some hardware problem?
4. please setup nginx, Apache it's my first thought. Do you have my server credentials yet?

#19 Re: Troubleshooting » slow streaming buffer, especially on mobile » 2014-12-29 20:36:26

To be clear, this is what happens every day, after 2 minutes waiting is so as. I check with different connection and different video streaming and the result is the same.

dmv load

#20 Re: Troubleshooting » slow streaming buffer, especially on mobile » 2014-12-29 11:24:59

Sorry for delay Adrian, the backup is finished when you want you can have a look at the server.
At this time desktop streaming it's fine, but during the day it will become very slow. Instead the mobile streaming is always slow, even with low quality video.

Hi Adrian, on new server, often the streming become very slow (apache pseudostreaming), I have to wait 1-2 minutes to watch the videos, and generally on mobile, the streaming is unusable, videos start after 10-15 seconds (both high and low quality videos) and then freezes every 2-3 secs. At this time server cpu load it's low, but it is constantly using 16gb of ram on 32gb, instead the old vps server was using only 2-4 gb of ram.

The traffic during these slowdown is similar to the rest of the day, so it's not this the problem, can you check please?

#23 Re: Open Discussion » hacked...? need help » 2014-12-25 00:33:40

Hi adrian, I've asked to a server management service to investigate about this problem and to implement other security addons. Now they are scanning the server.
I have temporarly redirect the dns of my ASP site on the old server. Now only my ASS site is redirect on the new server and if you try to visit it redirect to an extraneous parking page.

Hello, my ASP and ASS websites are redirecting on an external parking page... Seems there is a redirect of  dns... Someone knows a cheap recovery service for this kind of problems?
