Me again :-) forgot about the documentation, once we finish everything we will write documentation accesible from both script (admin only) and our website. Documentation will contain everything you need to know from server configuration, installation, content/media management and some tips/tricks.

#7277 Re: Pre-sale questions » Some questions » 2010-12-07 17:17:03

Forgot, BETA3 contains the following features:
- premium membership (with support for paypal/ccbill, subscription and pay per view support)
- multi-language (this is the reason why this version was delayed, it was to slow, however we managed to make it almost as fast as the one without multi-language)
- admins can search for advertising and sponsors in the administration panel
- small design changes (search available on the top of the page, no more top-header advertising banner, more space for menu items)
- users can chose what to upload on the upload page (currently videos/photos, in the future dvds, pornstars, sites, music...whatever we will support)
- optimizations and other bug fixes

#7278 Re: Pre-sale questions » Some questions » 2010-12-07 17:12:54

BETA3 was supossed to be released yesterday and it actually did, however only 1 client installed the new version, he found a few bugs, i fixed and we are going to release the BETA3 version today (or in the worst case tomorrow). I'm still fixing some bugs, doing installs and in 1-2 hours i will also try upgrades.

After BETA3 is released we will release RC1 (which will contain the following additional features, support for zombaio/epoch (currently paypal and ccbill are supported), support for html/javascript player overlay ads, support for mass video FTP uploads, support for mass album FTP and archive (zip/tar/gzip..) upload, support for mass RSS video importing from affiliates). I dont have a exact date, however i think it can take from 2 to 4 weeks (depending on how many bugs BETA3 has).

After RC1 is released, in 1-2 weeks we will release the final version. The final version will contain no new features, however we will run a overall optimization and security checks.

Optimizations planned:
- depending on what we discover we will optimize the database (keys, fulltext keys..., normalization)
- depending on what we discover we will optimize the php code (no to much to do here...) (webgrind and kcachegrind will be used)
- we will run extensive teste using apache/mysql stress tools to figure a theoretically (or speculative) number of views at the same time (or / minute) or script can handle on one server (with/without caching....)

Security checks:
- we will use available security testing tools
- if we find serious security bugs we will hire a security specialist to help us (i'm confident in my security knowledge, i have experience, however we can never be sure
about security, even if we had a 1000 persons working, there is still possible to have security problems...see some other scripts/OS's).

Once done we will release our final version. After final version we will focus on the upgrade system (currently its done manually, we want to do it via administration panel) and
script protection (player will work only on 1 domain, you will be able only to install the script if you have a license, you can only upgrade if you have a license). Nothing will be encrypted though.

#7279 Re: Feature Requests » [Idea] Likes instead of Rating » 2010-11-24 14:34:48

Can be done, once i finish what i'm working on (stable release, i know it has been delayed, but i'm working as fast as i can), i'll start working on new modules and a new template, which will have likes instead of stars.

#7280 Re: Modifications » Nuevoplayer » 2010-11-18 20:11:15

We will have advertising support in flowplayer also. Its in the works for BETA4 (and once beta4 is done, the final version will be only optimization).

#7281 Re: Open Discussion » German Hip Hop » 2010-11-13 10:44:21

Hahahah...i remember from like 10 years ago, i used to listen to german rap, Die Fantastischen Vier, Eko Fresh and some more...but i cant remember the names.

#7282 Re: Troubleshooting » CSV Import » 2010-11-12 20:39:54

Its a good idea and its possible.

#7283 Re: Troubleshooting » CSV Import » 2010-11-12 18:38:35

Ok. So there is also a bug in how i detect the video format. I will update this in BETA3 also. For our CSV problem, i think the best solution would be to use the hd file without fast forward, as re-encoding to FLV/HD will use server cpu. Still debugging.

#7284 Re: Troubleshooting » CSV Import » 2010-11-12 14:59:03

The mass CSV import doesnt re-convert the videos. Hmm...you have a good point....what happens if you upload directly from ACP or frontend? Is the video converted to flv or hd?

#7285 Re: Development » Search Videos (photos...and future media). » 2010-11-12 14:57:49

With sphinx you can have a high performance (didnt test this, but the docs say up to 1.000.000 rows) for title, tags and description.

Hi,

I'm still deciding, which method to use for searching, all methods have advantages and disadvantages (and the ultimate solution for power users > 100.000 videos will be sphinx, but until then...):

1. Search by title - added (not my first choice, not that fast, relevant if you only count the title).
2. Search by tags - added (this is the best in my opinion, very fast, but you need a lot of tags for each video, gets results by tags, pretty relevant).
3. Search by title and tags (its good, but slow, gets relevant results, but not perfect).
4. Search by title and tags with a separate table using mysql match against (this will find the most relevant results, its slow when you have 50.000 rows).

I personally think method 2 is the best and its very very fast (also considering that you have multi-word tags separate by commas).

If you have any ideas, please let me know (no technical information needed, just what you think is best).

#7287 Re: Feature Requests » News Box » 2010-11-12 00:06:58

This feature can be added. It will be available in admin (also enabled/disabled). The feature will be a plugin and you will be able to place it anywhere on the page (by default it will be on the frontpage, top). We need to finish everything that is remaining to have a stable release first, then i'll start adding new features: dvds, news, series, games...

#7288 Re: Development » Upload Media » 2010-11-12 00:01:14

Hmm...how about like the profile page with tabs on the left side (profile page has the tabs on the right side)? BTW...i think this is the best idea, thanks for helping.

I'm still thinking if the upload page with video/photo buttons is a good idea. Wouldnt it be better if upload would go to the video
page and there should be a button with upload photos?

#7290 Re: Troubleshooting » CSV Import » 2010-11-10 11:32:47

symtab@symtab-laptop:/var/www/asp/media/videos/mp4$ MP4Box -inter 500 675.mp4
Error opening file 675.mp4: Invalid IsoMedia File
symtab@symtab-laptop:/var/www/asp/media/videos/mp4$

MP4Box cant open this file as a H264 file.

I'll also try flvtool2 (its clearly not a flv file, however file reports as a flv file, no idea why, however even if flvtool2 works, i cannot detect from the script if its a flv or mp4 file (in the vidz.com case only, for other files, detection works perfectly).

I'm going to email vidz.com and ask them about the encoding.

#7291 Re: Troubleshooting » CSV Import » 2010-11-10 11:20:10

So basically i can make it work, but without the fast forwarding player feature, because there is no way to inject meta or moov the atom (neither yamdi, nor qt-faststart work, i'm checking now with MP4Box).

#7292 Re: Troubleshooting » CSV Import » 2010-11-10 11:18:07

I'm still debugging this, i found what the problem is, but i'm searching for a fix. The files for vidz are encoded incorrectly, or at least weird:

1. Its a FLV file:

file -b 675.mp4
Macromedia Flash Video

2. Its a MP4 file:

ffmpeg -i 675.mp4
...
Seems stream 0 codec frame rate differs from container frame rate: 50.00 (50/1) -> 25.00 (25/1)
Input #0, flv, from '675.mp4':
  Duration: 00:05:08.40, start: 0.080000, bitrate: 308 kb/s
    Stream #0.0: Video: h264, yuv420p, 512x336 [PAR 63:64 DAR 3:2], 308 kb/s, 25 tbr, 1k tbn, 50 tbc
Stream #0.1: Audio: aac, 22050 Hz, mono, s16
At least one output file must be specified

One solution would be to run yamdi if qt-faststart fails, The script identifies this as a qt (mp4) file, which it actually is, so it runs qt-fastart by default.

Hi,

We have Adult Script Pro Beta3 almost finished, premium membership is functional (with Paypal and CCBILL, we had to wait to long for epoch and zombaio, so its good enough
at this point), however the multi-language sistem is not finished yet (it is finished, but with a few problems). If you know PHP does not have native support for UTF8, however there
are a few methods to implement this, we use a combination between mbstring and utf8 (sourceforge open source PHP utf8 functions), but the site is slower, so i decided to keep
debugging until i can make the site run faster (every other script out there has to use the above methods, but its all about the implementation). If i cannot finish until Monday, we
will delay the release until next week.

A lot of other bugs and improvements have been added: new header (with search for videos/photos/pornstars/premium/forum), complete title and tag searching for all media types
(this will also be improved to MATCH based searching and in the future, with a spynx implementation), a lot of bug fixes and a few speed improvements.

#7295 Re: Bug Reports » [FIXED] photo upload » 2010-10-31 21:47:39

They can upload, but only if they write the URL in the browser bar. Is fixed in BETA3 which will be released this week. Also search for anything in the site is fixed.

#7296 Re: Troubleshooting » CSV Import » 2010-10-31 08:02:00

Ok. Got the problem...the file is actually a MP4/AAC file.

Input #0, flv, from 'MyNeighborsDaughter2_scene4_Vidz.com_gal3min.flv':
  Duration: 00:03:03.51, start: 0.040000, bitrate: 306 kb/s
    Stream #0.0: Video: h264, yuv420p, 512x336 [PAR 199:234 DAR 3184:2457], 306 kb/s, 25 tbr, 1k tbn, 50 tbc
Stream #0.1: Audio: aac, 22050 Hz, mono, s16
At least one output file must be specified

#7297 Re: Troubleshooting » CSV Import » 2010-10-30 07:50:38

Ok. Found the problem in the code. Can you email me a video file from vidz.com that doesnt work? I just need to make sure i check correctly for mp4/flv formats.

#7298 Re: Troubleshooting » csv mass import question » 2010-10-27 07:47:28

This means there is something wrong on the server. Usually not good mysql timeout and/or php ini settings are not correct. I saw this problem before, but its server related, it works on most of the servers (including the 3 servers i own) + on other clients servers.

#7299 Re: Feature Requests » Games » 2010-10-26 19:37:09

I will add this feature, but first i need to finish everything that is needed to have a stable version: premium membership, multi-language, mass rss video importing, in-player html advertising.

#7300 Re: Troubleshooting » csv mass import question » 2010-10-26 19:36:19

So basically it ads the videos? But the progress bar is still working? Or?
