It Happens If there Is Error In Starting Of language xml I Tried That To You can Rectify the Error By Removing The Latest Installed Language From Database It Will Not log Out then. And Search for utf-8 php File In Forum I Have Same Problem Now Its Work Fine.
Sorry ful2fun, I am not understanding how you resolve the issue. What exactly needs to be done to resolve this?
Its very odd, but mine started doing it now too. I need to delete a video but it won't let me. I have tried 3 browsers and still - no go.
You can change this in the language files. Its under global. I think this only affects the user side and not the admin side, meaning if you edit the user in admin, it will still say boys and girls. You can change this under admin->default->user_edit.tpl.php and the community.tpl.php for your style.
No. They are created by the script and it assigns names like: en-US.frontend.frontpage_fe621d8614d42acef20432035e4159b2.php
Its not a file. It is in the language manager. If you go to Admin -> Extend -> Language Manager. Then click manage files for this language (the folder on the left for the en-us language). Click edit for "frontpage" and you can change it to whatever you want.
I am trying to locate the following to files that have been referenced numerous times in the forum.
1. Error logs created by the script and not server created logs, i.e. apache, etc.
2. I think it is called video_grabber.php or video_upload.php. It runs all of the grabbers from cron job.
Thanks.
I thought this was posted already, but upon searching I could not find a thread. If it has not been posted or brought up, it would be nice to be able to mass asign pornstars. You would search your videos for their name in the description or title, then be able to select all and assign to a pornstar. I know it is supposed to auto assign, but its missing some videos during import when the name is only in the title (or spelling is off).
Yeah, I have been using real-time as well, but I was targeting something a bit more specific for advert reasons. Basically, I need to know what category of vids is the most viewed so I can focus on that.
It is a good feature but to me, its not a priority. Maybe around 1.4 timeline or later.
Right....but that is not showing me which videos are performing and which ones aren't. I already took care of it and am wrapping up the mod so it is clean.
It would be nice under video edit if you could delete specific thumbnails. Also, it would be nice if you could re-grab/re-generate thumbnails for the video. This is because during the import, apparently one thumb was not valid and no it just shows a blank image with the red x.
I am not sure why the image is not showing because it exists in the correct path, but it does not show.
If you click on details, it gives you more (link here: http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/dirtydirtyangels.com#). There is a little question mark by each number and it tells you what it means.
That is a better layout, but its only a template issue for the existing KB. Not too difficult to mod.
Ah. I didn't find that tool particularly useful, however, http://www.alexa.com/ will tell you exactly where you are on the internet. Also, I use google analytics to see which pages are performing better than others.
I do like the KB as an FAQ for users and I guess it could be prepopulated with common questions for how to use the site. Like today, someone said there was no search for the site but I casually nudged their eyes to the upper right hand corner. Maybe some stuff about that, but then a custom template changes that and each sites content is different, so I can see where it would get hard. Either way, I don't want the KB to go but for admin docs, the wiki idea that symtab had, is, imo, the best way to go.
Where are you seeing this?
I am currently using the KB for the site and am not to sold on the concept. The KB is viewable by all of your site users. I am currently using it as a FAQ and nothing other. You can see the link in the footer which is for FAQ - http://www.thehiddenshelf.com/kb/.
What other info would we want there for our users or would you want the site admin info there as well?
I know the wiki has been talked about (and planned) for documentation in the future. My thought was (I believe this should work) that we add a help button on every page in the admin (in the template header of course) that would read the page title (Admin::Dashboard) and would take you to the appropriate wiki page. This would mean we would have to stick to a naming convention, but then we would be able (as a group) to provide specific instructions for each page and field, i.e. what goes in each field, what each option does, etc.
Thoughts?
I for one would gladly help with the docs.
On the admin home page, there is Video Views Today. It would be nice to click the number and have it show what videos and the numbers for them. I am doing targeted advertising for certain videos and it would be nice to know which ones are paying out. If I have time this weekend, I will do it.
Yeah, its just a local bug with IE 9 and CKEditor. I am not sure what the deal is, but for whatever reason IE doesn't not let you mod the source textarea. I can make a screen video if you would like to see it.
I tried that originally and when I clicked source, I could not add anything in the box. I will try it again with a different browser.
EDIT: Confirmed this issue. In IE 9, I was unable to modify the textarea content once I clicked source. I was able to do this in Chrome without issue though.
Apologies. I went full noob and failed to search first before posting.
This is an odd error. If you go to: http://www.thehiddenshelf.com/static/Web_Cams/, you will see the iframe code however in edit view, it generates the iframe in the ckeditor. Thoughts?

What all is necessary to create a module? Is there any docs on what is required or a sample module?
