Hi,

I'm working on a module for this and it seems that flash cannot compute the javascript, so this has to be done from javascript
and also controlled via flash...this will work via embed, only if we use iframe for embed code. What do you think about this, is this ok?

Yeah...like exoclick/adxpansion in video overlay ads (you will be able use the ads directly over the player). I can make that work even now, but only on the site, for embed we will need to use iframe in order to make it work.

Also can you make a IM 300x250 or 250x250 banner they says that converts really good

Should this support only one global ad? Or per video, per category, per sponsor? I personally think only one global.

One global is easiest to code and probably use. I would start there.

for the site i have now global. if someone makes a site with short clips from sponsors it will convert better per video, per category, per sponsor with video embed

Its done. Plugin has the following options:
preroll: video will start paused and the ad will display
pauseroll: ad will show on pause
postroll: ad will show when video finishes

You can have anything (just like all the other ads), html/javascript, text or image, but by default the space is 300x250.

Just found out that you need to write "Advertisement" on top of the banner, or some advertising companies (eg: Juicy Ads) will ban you. Added!

PS: I didnt have any other picture, i'm all over the internet :-)

This is done tested and working in 1.0. Embed changed from the old embed with object to iframe, example:

<iframe src="http://localhost/asp/modules/video/player/embed.php?id=2863" frameborder="0" border="0" scrolling="no" width="660" height="500"></iframe>

It supports all types of player advertising (old object/embed one, only supported in-media video/image advertising), including the HTML/Javascript Overlay One.

This feature is not available in RC4. Only once 1.0 is released.

I did the same thing for my site. If you check out any video (link in my sig) I have a juicy ad popup on mouse over - if you click the x then you do not see the ad again. Pure JS and CSS. There is also a script need to run on your database once to fix embedded video code. This works on RC4. Who knows what will happen after 1.0 but this was pretty fun to play with. All in all, a real simple mod.

EDIT: To clarify, I did this for non-hosted videos and purely for remote embeds that were CSV imported from RedTube, PornHub, etc.

This feature was available for embedded videos already (in RC4), but not for hosted videos (available in 1.0).
