Finally got a vps its on cento6 or what ever its called wih a cpanel/whm adrian i need your famous power to help me move my site as i do not have a clue what to do with a WHM

If You have WHM And Cpanel let me Help i Just Moved My Site Recently. Just Ask you hosting provider To Transfer Your Site They Will Do It And If they Do Not Then Just tell Us We Will Help You. I Know The Short Way To Transfer Site And What is The Size Of Your Site.

In media/videos/tmb/000 zip all folders and transfer to new server to same place no thumb will loss and domain will be transfer through nameserver of your vps.

Domain Will Stay With certified Hosting No Need To Pay For This Year Or You can Transfer It will Increase 1 Year And Rest Of the Time To new Registrar.

If you bought it there it can stay there. I suggest to move to GoDaddy as registrar. It´s much cheaper there to renew and quite easy to manage it.
I suggest a full download of all folders of the certified server if you do the move by yourself. Then you can config the VPS in a similar structure and upload all. Before you upöoad the email folders to the new VPS you need to add the email accounts on your cpanal.
Let the older server active with your site until all installs and your site are running fine on the new server.
This may be a bit slower but you have the chance to redo it if needed / something fails.

Move everything to the new server. Delete any file (not folder) that is not named index.php and index.html from the /where/script/is/installed/folder make sure files are owned by the ftp username, make sure each folder in /where/script/is/installed/media and /where/script/is/installed/tmp is chmoded to 777. Load the sql file and edit config.php. Thats it. if any problems appear, just drop us a email.
