Your input required for mobile module development (again)!
Hi,
So the mobile module is almost finished, but i want to add some features to admin. For users that already have the script, already uploaded
videos willl not have a mobile version, so in admin you can convert videos to mobile. There are restrictions to which videos can be converted
to mobile (min width: 480, min height: 270), should there be a force option for the admin conversion part?

The force option might be a good idea as long as it wont effect the videos to bad. If nothing else its worth trying.

Hm, i think there is no alternative, because IF there is an mobile version of the site it would make no sense if the videos are not viewable 
Or did i misunderstood your intention?

Not all videos will available for mobile, but most of the videos will be converted to mp4 adroid/iphone video.

Ah ok.
I dream of CPUs/GPUs capable of ON-THE-FLY conversion

Well if lets say you get 100.000 unique visitors / day, you can afford a good server that can be used only for conversion :-)

P.S: Linux is GREAT, but i switched back to a dual boot system ONLY because of World of Warcraft. Thats sad. Thats another topic, BUT the ATi/AMD drivers for Linux just suck.

Hahaha...i play Starcraft 2 (on Windows XP)...but lets not hijack this thread :-) We could open a topic in the Open Discussion category :-) WOW is to infecting for me (you start playing, you can never quit).
