Our team has been doing aggressive marketing and as such we have seen a huge increase in traffic. Now we are getting flooded with emails about a white page that comes up for the first page or a video that says Error, Query was empty (I think), Error 1065. It is sporadic and can not be reproduced consistently. If you refresh when on that page, it will properly generate the page.
Is this related to caching and should we just turn that off? I know this is a MySQL error and I thought this was related to being on a shared host but we are now on dedicated. Is this something else? We can't be having the main index page not working. I have experienced these before but only on the admin side. Any thoughts on a solution?

Its Not Normal Its Due To Having Traffic Some Time Means Like 10000 - 15000 Page Request If You Getting At Same Time Then It Get Server Problem I think Its Not Script Problem. Server Get load Problem.What I Have Noticed Till Now In Many Sites But I Think Adrain Will Be Good Person To Response On It So I Also Like To Know His Opinion.

I Think Its MYSQL Error I Searched In Google It Shows Due To Overload Mysql Stop Responding Some Request So It Happens.

It is a MySQL error where the query returns a null set and then is referenced as its not null. I have got them all around. I am going to disable caching and see what happens. Symtab, do you have a ball park idea of how much slower it will make the site run?
Also, what are the ideal settings in the config?
I am running:
Driver = File
Lifetime = 15 minutes
Templates = Yes
UPDATE: I ran cache disabled and it still did it. If you just navigate back and forth between say videos and home, let each page load fully but go back and forth, you can usually make it happen. I will run firebug and see if it gives me any more info.
UPDATE 2: I was finally able to capture what is going on.
ErrorException [Warning]: Missing argument 1 for VDatabase_Driver_mysql::get_affected_rows(), called in /libraries/framework/session/database.php on line 53.
I am assuming this is because I have been keeping sessions in the DB. What is the preferred setting?

Its preferred to keep the sessions in files (except if you want to share the sessions with another server) or memory if you want real good optimization (memcache or mount a ram disk over /where/aspro/is/installed/tmp/sessions). The cache itself doesnt speed things up, unless you have already have tons of visitors, if you dont have many visitors, the cache slows things down.

Thanks! I updated session and that resolved the issue. I still have caching on as I am averaging about 10000 page views a day. Is this metric to low for caching or right?
