Adding site map (xml) to the site

I know where the section is to add "sitemap" but when I try to "rebuild" all I get is the same message and I can't seem to add or change any codes, can this be done via the admin panel? If you could help I'd appreciate it very much.

Admin -> Tools -> Sitemap and Admin -> Tools -> Video Sitemap

I have a specific script I want to add though, I don't understand how to when I'm in the video script section?

You cannot add a specific script. You will need to edit the files and templates, but it depends on the script and how exactly you want/need to add it.
