Spam / Robot User Accounts

There are several "newer" accounts in these forums that appear to be either spam or robot accounts and I am not sure of their purpose. Anyone have any thoughts to this? Also, feel free to list those accounts here and maybe those users can come in here and clear up the confusion.

I agree. Sooner or later, they might flood the whole site with senseless comments regarding the products we tackle everyday.

They are not robots, but they keep posting scam...What i can do is delete their accounts. I have a special captcha...i think i could enable email verification also.

If i cant find a good method of preventing this from happening, each person that wants to signup on the forum will have to email us first. After 1.0 the forum will be tied together with the client area, so only users with a license key will be able to view certian pages.

And this is why i run a mybb forum. because you can stop these spammers in their tracks, before they post.

I dont think these are robots, mostly users, that post spam. I think at least.

Not retro shaders...3d glasses, i was at the cinema :-)
