How To Mass Embed Using Cronjob

Hello, i've been searching the forum, buy can't find a guide or explanation of how to mass embed videos using cronjob.

Can you please Adrian tell me step by step how to do it?

Edit config/cron.php and make sure video_embed status is set to 1. Add cron/cron.php to your cron and execute it every 30 minutes or 1 hour (usually /usr/local/bin/php /where/aspro/is/installed/cron/cron.php). Please read this for cron: http://www.thegeekstuff.com/2011/07/cro … 5-minutes/

No method at this point, but i can implement it. You will be able to queue videos from upload_ftp and then the cron video queue will process them.

When i run without cron is ok all but when run whit cron job the dont take the thumb an keep status grabbing , can you help me?

Its because your thumb folder is not writable by the user that runs the cron. You need to make sure all folders in /media/videos/tmb are 777.

From the admin panel is ok but from the cron job no.

I changed all the folders in media/videos/tmb/000 to 0 777 now. Please try again. You should note that i cannot debug without ssh access (some parts of the script, including the cron are run from the console).

Some folder have permiss 755 and when i try to chage say "550 Could not change perms on 078: Operation not permitted"

That the owner is 99 dont can change the permiss

if you check the pircture you see some folder with permiss 755 , this folder y try to change to 777 and i cant.

Contact your hosting company and ask them to change the permissions to 777 for you. Only the last folder is important (when adding thumbs) and all are required for video delete.
