Strange fille in my script

Hi all

I have found in my website an strange fille called "core" gest that, no extension, and is very BIG - 284.848.128 kb
Is located in the /httpdocs and in /httpdocs/admin folder, and most part is encripted.

???? I belive, this file cant be here, IS TRUE ????

Well its true that this file shouldnt be there, however it has nothing to do with security:

A core file is created when a program terminates unexpectedly, due to
a bug, or a violation of the operating system's or hardware's
protection mechanisms. The operating system kills the program and
creates a core file that programmers can use to figure out what went
wrong. It contains a detailed description of the state that the
program was in when it died.

If would like to determine what program a core file came from, use the
file command, like this:

$ file core

That will tell you the name of the program that produced the core
dump. You may want to write the maintainer(s) of the program, telling
them that their program dumped core.

I have write to my server management support and I have recibed this anser:

The core files getting generated is when a php process is killed, 
apache creates core files under your account. 
It is a memory or a storage dump which records the memory state of a 
computer program at specific instance when a program terminates abnormally. 
We have added the appropriate parameters in the server to disable the core dumps. 
So core files are no more generated in the server. 

Please see the proof given below.

* soft core 0

- WHER IS THE PROBLEM - in this case, I gest cant recive more, this core files, but the problem styll exist,... or not???

The question is - THIS IS AN ACCEPTABLE ANSER ??? - becouse the server management for plesk, cost me 100 dolars by month.

Its a acceptable answer from my point of view. They cannot identify the bug so easily. It could be something related to the script or something related to the server (a buggy php extension, a buggy combinations of extensions...), but its not easy to find.
