Does BootAdult template work in version 1.2?
I enabled it but I get no videos shown on the main page plus the channels page is just the header and nothing else

The bootadult template does not work in 1.2. We will have a new default responsive template soon, which will replace the bootadult template.

What happen to people who pay for bootadult but it don't work in 1.2 OR that new responsive template free with 1.2?

You will still be able to use the bootadult template with the 1.2 version, but not with the 2.0 version. The new template is also a bootstrap template.
