Premium Membership 2.0 Development

Hi,

I'm thinking to add the following features to the premium membership module:

- adapt the premium features to the 2.0 script (responsive)
- trailer creation (set a time limit and during the conversion a 20 seconds video will be created, once the video played, a banner with signup will be displayed, this way google can index premium videos and also record time spent on time)
- affiliate system (add a url for signup with a affialite id, the calculations will be done by the script, payment will be manual)
- disable advertising for premium members

I would suggest that only premium members should rate the premium videos. Also it would be good that since someone is a premium member no ads to be displayed.

I think the option to have some ads in the premium section is a good idea though. Every membership I have ever tried has had some ads shown.

Actually members are the best ad targets as you know they are willing to pay money.

it would be interesting to have a page with user premium expiring (see a few days before the deadline) to offer subscription with an email coupon or renew

Same here, once i finish this 2.0 is complete and i can focus on re-designing the presentation sites, they look ancient.

I'm almost finished with the migration to 2.0, but i still have to add the affiliates stuff and also finish the 2.0.4 version with the bug fixes. Will only be able to finish at the end of the next week.

Yeah, takes more than expected. A lot of bugs were found in 2.0.3 and i have to fix those first. Sorry for the delay.

Some very interesting features

1 - Content program partnership , amateur/user upload with split income % .

All calculation done in backend with manual payments , should not be hard to integrate.

2 - Basic calculation of tokens/spend per movie so webmaster is able to check which videos are bringing more profit.

I wanted to add in this version, but its a lot of testing to implement discounts, because the same discount has to be implemented on the payment gateway. What could work easy is to add a discounted package.

example
extract premium members soon expire, and choose to whom to send email with links to coupons or link to a page of the site, where propose coupons

you can not enter payment zombaio? they have affiliate system

NO zombaio they owe me lots of money .. and getting worse and worse advise anyone with money there to take it out ASAP

better use amember pro or epoch / ccbill affiliate system

Affiliates will be like this: new user signs up with a ref id, the affiliate that referred that user will get the % percent from the users payment you define in the admin panel. The payment will be manual.

Both, enable/disable from admin. Each payment is recorded in the database (both signup and rebill), so the math can be done automatically whenever we want.
