I know in RC4 we could have changed the -crf 24 to -crf 22 in /framework/video.php for better conversion. In ASP 1.0.1 in video>config below CRF is set the number to 22.
Question is in ASP 1.0.1 /framework/video.php -crf don't have a value. Should i add 22 for better conversion???

You can se the CRF in Admin -> Video -> Config -> Conversion.

The lower you set it the better the quality and bigger filesize. I use 26.

Okay... i just had a few big FLV i wanted to re-convert to MP4. Yes i already read your warning (from e-mail) that FLV to MP4 is bad quality since FLV is bad to begin with. But in RC4 -cfr22 gave me some good quality. Originals files to MP4 converts perfect, guess i will lower the number to get these FLV to MP4 looking good.

Please try with 20 then 22 and so on. It depends on what videos you upload. I guess for a HD site which uploads only good quality videos even 26 is good, however for a site that uploads mixed quality videos a higher value would be require to make sure you keep a good quality.
