How do I add a custom favicon?

Can anyone give me step by step instructions on how to do this?

Hy,

1. put <link rel="shortcut icon" href="/favicon.ico" /> in header.tpl

2. and the File "favicon.ico" in the Main Directory

     like:
... youtpfad/web/ADULTSCRIPTPRO-SCRIPT
... youtpfad/web/favicon.ico

2. Way:

1. put <link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://www.bdsmunderground.com/templates/default-pink/images/favicon.ico" /> in header.tpl

the favicon must be a "*.ico" not a "*.png"

must be favicon.ico not in png
