csv mass import question

When I use the csv mass import it will bring all the videos in with no problem but it continues to say uploading. It did this for over 4 hours till I stopped it. It happened both times I used the csv mass import.

So basically it ads the videos? But the progress bar is still working? Or?

Yes the is correct.... it will upload all the videos but it will never come up and say that the videos have been successfully added. At the bottom it always says uploading....please wait and the browser continues to run.

This means there is something wrong on the server. Usually not good mysql timeout and/or php ini settings are not correct. I saw this problem before, but its server related, it works on most of the servers (including the 3 servers i own) + on other clients servers.

Got ya. I guess thats why it works when I only do 1 or 2 but not more than that. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

First check your php.ini settings for these things:

upload_max_filesize = 1020M
post_max_size = 1020M
max_execution_time = 7210
max_input_time = 7210
memory_limit = 2010M

Note, this are my own settings but they do work. Never had timeouts with the Mass Import. But let me advise you: Do not import 20.000 videos at one time, your server will have a hard time

Are you on a shared hosting or on a dedicated ?
