Sitemaps as a Cronjob?

Hello

i wish i have the option to gererate the videositemap and the sitemap once a day with a cronjob

Option:
Numbers of "Max Items"
Ping searchengines (yes/no)
which searchengines (all/Google/Bing/Yahoo)
every "x" hours (like 24/48/72 ...)

or how can i realise it with my own chronjob???

for both sitemaps!
