And they seem really really really cheap. What is the catch here?

I am currently with arvixe vps which is more expensive whith 1/5 of the strength.

If you look at the arvixe dedicated they start from 130 $ with not even the 1/3 of what the others offer.

So has anyone tried them?

There are good dedicated servers started at 59$ / month and at 99$ you can get a very very good (like 8 core, 8gb ram...) dedicated server. AYKSolutions, FDCServers (i dont recommend them though, my server crashed twice and other problems), gorillaservers...and there are a few more.

I dont think there's any catch with datashack.net. Their bandwidth is limited though (20TB), which for a tube si not that much. 1gb unmetered costs 150$ (here there might be a catch, its to cheap, but i dont know for sure).

Also for a tube site, the hard drive space is not that good. I think the best way is to have two (2) hard drives, one for the website and one for backup.

OVH has unmetered bandwidth plans, the SP servers are capped to 200 mbps but the EG servers have 1gbps unmetered up and down, this ASpro site (brutal5.com) is hosted in Online.net, also French and they have cheap 1gbps unmetered plans
If you want servers that are more managed in terms of disk space I also recommend Redstation (UK) they have unmetered bandwidth plans like OVH

Online.net has the worse network, OVH is french and they have a datacenters in France and Canada
There is no safe DMCA heaven, but you can always try to hide your server IP with Cloudflare
There are some tricks to hide behind their DNS servers and hiding A-records and subdomains, making much harder to discover the server IP

This an exemple of a successfully hidden site with Cloudflare: http://wareztuga.tv
No A-record or subdomain exposed
Can somebody discover where is this site hosted by doing some traceroute? I would appreciate

It is based on the fact that when I was student there they did hold any adult dvd at the cuatoms not allowing me to have it. So with such laws how can I trust them with a porn site?

If you are afraid about DMCA use Cloudflare, and also apply those tricks by hidding the domain A-records and default subdomains

I am already hosting with arvixe (US) but since I am looking for a deticated server and since they are too expensive and since most propable I move to another provider I am looking fo a possible EU provider were the DMCA is not so strict. But still my basic plan is a provider with very good support and around 100-140 $ per month with cpanel and WHM inlcuded

I have also contacted OVH but they offer nothing more than the hardware and the cpanel. After that you are alone if you need any software related help. I am going to check the AYKSolutions and maybe the gorillaserver

They resell servers from Voxility.com (Romania)
Voxility was known to be offshore because they didnt take any action against DMCA complaints, and they got very popular with Warez sites, even Kat.ph has servers there, before voxility didnt had any seller page, they used their main reseller, limehost.ro, but a couple months they start using Voxility.com domain and taking forward with DMCA, they are not so offshore anymore
