Popular Tags not updating

I'm using the default black template.  It shows 4 popular tags and they havent changed in two days.

Edit templates/default-black/extend/widgets/tag_left.widget.php and templates/default-black/extend/widgets/tag_footer.widget.php and remove the following line:

$tags   = array_unique($tags);

tag_footer.widget.php is a blank file.
How would I actually remove the tags box?

tag_footer.widget.php is not used in the script. It is there for future use as footer tag cloud (http://www.exgfvid.com see footer).

Edit templates/your-template/frontpage.tpl.php and remove the following line to disable the tag cloud:

<?php echo w('tag_left'); ?>

I will make all this editable from admin. Each template will have its own configuration, so you can enable disable widgets/plugins.
