Nginx SecureLink

I use Nginx 1.4.4 latest stable and added the suggested lines into my config.

secure_link_md5 mypwd$uri$arg_e$remote_addr;

does not work

secure_link_md5 mypwd$uri$arg_e;

DOES work.

Is this intented? Is $remote_addr a variable for my IP?

There is an extra ";" in front of $remote_addr. This is probably the reason that it does not work.

Arrgh.That was the wrong paste. In my configuration i had it like:  secure_link_md5 mypwd$uri$arg_e$remote_addr;
without the semicolon.

I access the Server vom localhost. Could this cause the problems ?

Solved. Was an Nginx/iPV6 config issue.
