Remove ID Video
Is it possible, to somehow remove from url --> ID VIDEO
example:
From: http://www.pornoking.si/1816/passionate-friends-1/ to http://www.pornoking.si/passionate-friends-1/ ?

Hmmm...it could be done with the SLUG, which will need to be unique.

You have to edit the code. I'm thinking for 1.2 to move the entire video urls (including recent, to /video/recent/, /video/popular/ and for videos have it /video/slug-here/ for category, /video/category/slug-here/ and so on and have a redirect). You need to edit modules/video/components/view.php and use the SLUG to get the video from the database and also edit all the templates and remove the video_id.

This should be included in the next release for ASP its a great way of showing off how pro the script is compared to the rest..... the ID just brings back 1999

But when you have two videos with the same title you will have problem

You can have /slug-1/, /slug-2/ and so on. If i do this then categories need to be /category/slug/ or something. Also all sites work like this, its the default method. Maybe it will be changed, but i cannot give you a exact date now.

In my opinion ID should remain. Look at youtube, vimeo, they have only ID and they are fine of course.
In this crazy time of Google games slug can be even treated as "exact match", who knows.....
But if I can suggest: ID should be different than video file name. That's most important of all.
ID should be some unique key to identify video only. I'm sure Symtab agree this and maybe change it in the future.
Personaly I still have only slug on one of my sites (no ID) and this doesn't give any advantage, only more trouble, even if I have enough code to avoid duplicated slugs and titles. So oposite to resuest here I'm rather going to switch to some unique key only in the future.
