Ads 1 - 2

Okay, i activated 2 ads in the same zone both are 300x250. Ads 1 is a real Ads that CAN be blocked by ads blocker, Ads 2 is an image that NOT blocked by Ads blockers.

Here is what i hope to accomplish, when Ads1 is blocked then Ads2 show up, basically i thought Ads1 (since it was created before Ads2) will show, but if Ads1 is blocked, Ads2 hidden behind Ads1 well then be visible. Why isn't this possible???

What happen is Ads1 blocked an Ads2 don't show, even though Ads2 i active an it's NOT blocked by blockers since it's just a URL image.

Any fix for this 1 - 2 combination? when 1 is blocked 2 becomes visible.

Unfortunately i have no idea how to a adblocker works, so i dont know how you could probe if one ad is hidden and show the other one.

i guess i should have made it clear, Ads2 is not an Ads, its an image URL (just like your avatar) with no special character that ads blocker use to block ads.

Lets ignore the Ads blocker part of the question, Lets say i have 2 ads in the same zone (right of video) and they are both active. If 1a don't show ads, should 1b show ads since they both active?

Most important rule for AdBlockers is to search for string "ad" within html output code.
If this is some external ad from some ad network you have no chance to alter such code and change names.

I remember this when I was developing AnyAd plugin for Nuevoplayer.
If someone's really cautious should notice that there is no "ad" string in any part of html output or javascript source name in my plugin.
For example once I used "anyad.js" for javascript src. This was blocked. So I changed it to "anyhtm.js".
But I also had to replace any "ad" accourance inside javascript and html code.

So if I want to advertise using some banner picture only and advertiser id, and avoid "ad" in banner code ad blocker will not block it.
Unfortunately most of ad networks use widely "ad" chars chain in their code and this will be blocked.

So Symtab I suggest you not to use anything with "ad" chars chain in your script code.
Not even for div id or name where ad is supposed to display on template.
This may not stop Adblockers from blocking extrenal ad source, but at least you will have "clean" hands.

Out of curiosity i change the Ads order for both 1 and 2. 2 now became 1 always show the Ads since it cannot be blocked. Ads1 now became 2 never show at all.

So my conclusion is which ever Ads in the "same" zone spot is 1st in order stay's that way. It will be the only Ads to take effect no matter what the cause is.

I thought it would be good to make the 2nd Ads load if Ads1 is not loaded. This way people who use Ads blocker will still see an Advertisement.

I knew that idea made sense so i went on redtube to check it out and they accomplished what im asking

There are special codes that detect addblockers and they add hosted banners

The images are both ads from traffic junky so I do not think that the ad blocker did anything. I do not think it was a image behind the ad.

The ads change each time I go to the site anyways so, please explain to me how I know the difference? Also I have been told that some of the better ad networks already have the fix for the ad blocker built in. I know crak revenue does. Their ads cannot be blocked because they already have what you are asking to do built into their ads.

well im not worried about the ads, redtube image when ads blocker is active is the same. It make sense for ads company to add ads blocker work around but then again, ads blocker will add whatever "id" or "character" they use as work around.

I rather do it by "Image Banner" method in the advertisement section. I will see about hiring someone to implement the "background image behind the ad".
