index page only working

after installing only the homepage is working, every other link returns the following error:

Not Found

The requested URL /2/test/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Im suspecting a a file permission issue, but not completely sure.

what files do I need to change to 777?

Please make sure you have the .htaccess file and that your server supports .htaccess and mod_rewrite.

I do have a .htaccess, but I don't see any url rewrites in it.

what should the .htaccess contain?

Just Find File .htaccess In zip File And Upload On Your Server And Replace It It Will Start Working It Happened With Me Many Times.
