The summary of the new improvements is in the first post of this topic. Yes, in 1-3 weeks i expect to finish the new template integrated.

Once new version with template done, i will redo my website + clientarea and then work on affiliate and bonuses/discounts.

The conversion is still not as good as i want. I could add padding with black bars, but i dont think thats a good idea. The players out there (including html5) can already do this with the scalling. I'm now testing a few other options to make it better.

For premium i will add another mp4 conversion with limited time (eg: you can generate first 1-2 minutes of videos for premium preview).

Conversion is working pretty good now. It keeps aspect ratio, has a good quality, small filesize. The queue system and the CPU priority feature will reduce the server load.

I have tested and re-tested several features this weekend. Tomorrow i will test a few upgrades from 1.0.12 to 1.2.0 and then release time. Once done, i will move to develop 2.0 (new default template, new flash player, more features to come).

Yes, you can decide the time of the video globally, but at this point not for every video. Maybe in the future.

How conversion works now:
1. A video is added (upload, graber, csv, xml or ftp upload). Video can be queued or converted at upload time. If queued the cron video queue script should run every 5 minutes.
2. Video thumbs are extracted (can have multiple sizes).
3. A mp4 file (main profile, works on mobile also) is created (if the video is flv and flv copy is enabled, then no mp4 file is created).
4. A mp4 hd file (high profile) is created if the video meets the required width, height and bitrate.
5. A mp4 baseline mobile file is created (for older files).

NOTES: if the video width/height is lower than the resize width/height then no resizing is performed. Aspect ratio is always kept (no black bars, the player handles everything).

We are preparing for html5 only :-)

Unfortunately i was not able to finish today. The script is ready for fresh installs, but for upgrade, its a little more complicated. Hope i can finish everything tomorrow. Sorry for my delay.

channels looks great, I thought the site was going to have the responsive layout or something like that? home page looks same as the old version.

Not this version. Once released, i will take a 2-3 days break and then start working on a new version that will have the responsive template. This version mostly got under the hood improvements.

It saves information about each view (like at what time, from what ip and whcih username viewed a video).
