I figured mine out- not sure if it is the same issue that the others are having.
The embed is pulling the FLV version of the videos, so if you have FLV copy set to "no" in your video config it isn't going to generate the video for the embedded player.
I actually got this worked out that same day but forgot to post (had some server issues that day). Sorry!
