Hi,
I wonder if there is a new query for the sphinx search. Problem is, on my site, newer videos don't seem to be indexed anymore for search. Even if videos contain search terms in title and description, the result of search is empty.
Is there a way I can have sphinx re-index videos?

I tried that but still no luck. it appears that all new videos from the past 11 months have not been included in the index.
what could be other possible reasons for that please?

check the log in /var/log/sphinx/searchd.log (ubuntu: /var/log/sphinxsearch/searchd.log) sometimes a error appears in sphinx with the index, you have to delete the files from /var/lib/sphinx (sphinxsearch in ubuntu/debian) and then re-index (with indexer --all)
