mobile problem

I have tried to watch videos from 2 different android phones (HTC,Motorola) and i am listening only sound, the video is black screen.
If someone have a smartphone please make a test.

My mobile setting are:

Convert to MP4: Yes
Bitrate Method: Fixed
Bitrate: 400
Resize: 320x240
Encoding Pass: 1 pass
Audio Bitrate: 16
Audio Sample Rate: 44100

I just tested with my HTC Desire Z and its working correctly.

NOTE: however the CSS code does not load up the first time you visit the site. I will investigate this tomorrow.

We tested 3 days ago on Iphone (dont know what version) and it was working. Hmm...i will so some more testing this week and see how i can fix this. Maybe buy a HTC hero for my girl or something (i already have HTC Desire Z), so i can test.

Its clear that there is some kind of bug with the mobile videos and some devices. The question is how can i identify the exact problem! Can you download and email me a small video (doesnt matter from which site) that works on your phone? I will check the format and everything used during the conversion.

i have seen that the youjizz have 300k bitrate

I've also debbuged a little today, but i will debug a lot more tomorrow. They use different x264 profile, baseline.

What Android version? We need to somehow find out which version of Android and IOS work and which dont. The converted video is h264 so all systems that support h264 should work. Hmm...maybe if the phone has a weak cpu/gpu it wont render the video?

The reason why the videos play only sound with old smartphones is the h.264 profile. ASP use only High Profile. YouTube uses the High Profile as well for their 1080p and 720p encodes only. ( just send an email Adrian )

This is the reason why videos play on newest smartphones that support High Profile.

It will be great if video is lower than 480p use Baseline Profile
