[HOWTO]Install FFmpeg/Mplayer/Mencoder/FFmpeg-PHP on CentOS 5.x automa
this HOWTO show you how to Install FFmpeg, Mplayer, Mencoder, FFmpeg-PHP on CentOS 5.x automatically
1. cd /usr/src/
2. Download ffmpeginstaller 3 series Latest Stable Release at here
wget http://mirror.ffmpeginstaller.com/old/scripts/ffmpeg3/ffmpeginstall.3.2.1.tar.gzNote: ffmpeginstaller 3 scripts will install stable versions of all binaries. ffmpeginstaller version 4 will install all latest dependencies of ffmpeg and mplayer, and also use svn version of ffmpeg and mplayer. Version 4 and 5 may cause problem on your VPS. I recommend you install Version 3.
3. Unzip the file
tar -xzvf ffmpeginstall.3.2.1.tar.gz
cd ffmpeginstall.3.2.14. Run the installer.
./install.shThe script will find your php.ini, enter the php.ini full path to confirm the installation.
This process will take about 30 minutes and it will install the following packages:
ffmpeg
Mplayer
A52decoder
Amrnb and Amrwb
All codecs
facc and faad2
Ruby
flvtool2
ffmpeg-php
Mplayer and Mencoder
Lame
Libogg
Libvorbis
Libtheora
Libwmf
opencoreamr
vorbistools
X264
MP4Box
Xvidcore
5. Reboot the server.
6. Verify ffmpeg module listing in php and other modules.
php -m | grep ffmpeg

This will not get you the latest ffmpeg

im not so good on this like you maybe you have point.....but for me this steps works fine 
in step 2) is not help to download the latest ffmpeg??

I do not know exactly, but i've seen a couple of servers with ffmpeg installed in /usr/local/cpffmpeg and it doesnt work correctly, because ffmpeg is from 2008 or something like this.

I think this script uses static Urls instead of git for ffmpeg. Just a wild guess.

Anyway i dont know what will install this HOW TO but is there ONE MORE WAY to make ASP to work

Yes Thiva, it was nothing against you. I'am thankfull for anyone who educates himself and tries it's best to help the community. Kiki does the same. I can post her some SQL commands and she can succesfully execute them. Remember: Education is THE Key. Ok i need to self educate me in english language, but i try hard.
