I'm not really a fan of the current forum software I have interrogated into my site. I've been looking at mybb and would like to use that instead. How would I go about making it so that when someone joins my site. They are automatically made a member on the forum?

You need to create a "bridge" between the two application. You will need to hire a programmer/coder for this, as its a lot of php coding.
