How do i install the ad into the video player? Is there a code i can use?

go in the admin panel then click on adverts tab -> Add, then you can chose over player advertising Remember you need to get your own code from sites like juicyads for the ads

The player advertising supports overlat text/images and media (flv/mp4/swf/image) pre/mid/post roll. Currently html/javascript ads not supported, but we will add support for html/javascript (you will be able to use your juicy ads as a overlay, for example) asap (trying to find someone to code a flowplayer plugin).

does it filter sponsored accounts? because that can cause lots of drama, if you're showing ads over affiliate videos from another site

Yes it does. You can set / sponsor for the player overlay banners.
