Problem with oversized pictures in community

I keep seeing pictures in the community that are way over the normal size and I do not have a way to resize them without going into the picture itself and re-upload it via ftp. Is anyone else having this problem and how can i fix it? About 1 out of every 10 puctures is like that.

I will add a rule, that will check if the thumb has the correct size (after the crop) and if it doesnt, it will be automatically resized. I think the thumbs that dont get resized its either a math problem with the crop or the cropper doesnt work ont heir browser.
