How many visitors that a site needs to start making money?

I build my site a few months ago and now have 2000 visitors every day. Can anyone tell me how many visitors that a site generally needs to have cash income?

Well, with 2000 you should be pulling in about $3 if your ads are setup using basic services. So extrapolate that and you will get how much traffic you need. For instance, 1 site that gets 34,000,000 a day is making $68,000 a day - just using JuicyAds.

with good optimization you can get up to 2 $ per 1000 visits

Yeah thats probably a good amount, you can monetize the mobile traffic separately and also try some PPS banners under the flash player.

Ok. So here's what i do:
1. For the sites where i have embedded videos i use the Embedded Player Overlay Banner and also the Video View Right Banner.
2. For the sites where i use hosted/hotlinked videos i use the In Player Advertising from Adxpansion (and in 1.0 from any ad provider)
3. Cam/Dating also converts.
4. On my amateur nieche sites i only have PPS which converts (you need targeted keyword traffic for this).
