I've finally encountered a timeout for the XML Feed Importer, something like:
[Mon May 28 06:02:57 2012] [error] [client 89.38.246.28] Script timed out before returning headers: php5, referer: http://www.domain.com/admin/index.php?q=rss/run&id=38You get a 404 and the script continues to run in background until its finished.
The solution for this is to increase the Timeout in the Apache Configuration. See the bellow URLs for documenation:
