what is the difference between assign sponsor and assign advertising ?
how can i "assign sponsor" rather than "assign advertising ?
is "channel bottom" the correct selection for having a banner show up underneath a playing video ?

i now clicked on assign sponsor (i thought i had done that in channel and network)
i clicked on "go"
pop-up says "no sponsor found"
i clicked on "assign"
pop-up goes away, and red message says "please select advertising banner"
but now all selected videos are de-selected
i haven't changed any settings, so it is set for standard settings
in these preset standard settings, does it only upload 40 videos or so from each xml url ?
i clicked on "run cron script" just now (green circle) - will that bring up more videos ?
there haven't been any more loaded in the past 12 hours+, and there are 101 on the xlm

but it took 2 hours to upload 10 videos, so i guess i don't want to upload 1000 videos

is there a seperate area for "featured" videos ?
or do they show up in the "being watched" section ?
i thought that there was "featured" "being watched " and "recent"

You add a channel not a network. Then edit each video and select which channel that video belongs to.
so each video is edited manually ?
i tried clicking on the icon to edit network
but when i do, i get directed to a blank empty page
a banner is not showing up under the videos, so i wanted to edit the network to find out how i goofed up

admin panel says i have 30 sponsor videos now
but i have 10 videos showing on pages, but they're all the same video
do i need to manually approve videos ?????
i am trying to have xlm feed bring in 100 videos
don't know how long it is going to take

admin panel says i have 40 sponsor videos still
there are supposed to be 101 to be uploaded, so only uploaded 30 of the 101
has the upload stopped, because it hasn't uploaded anything more in the past several hours ????

never mind - got it
the mass xml reporter is set to 10
i tried changing to 1000, but it said recommended to set to 10, so i changed back to 10
does this mean that it will take me 10 days to import 100 videos on an xml feed of 100 videos ?

if i make people confirm email before they can become member
and they submit their email
but they do not confirm it
then, when i email members,
will i email non-confirmed members as well ???
ie, i don't want anyone putting in barackobama@whitehouse.gov and obviously don't confirm it, and then i go sending emails to the prez
also....
i put in a fake account to test it
ie.... 123456
and gave it a fake email account
then went to check users in admin panel
and that fake account ID came up as "Registered", even though email not confirmed
so don't want to go sending emails out to any non-confirmed members, so how can i prevent that ?
